Mainly this item is brilliant. The only issue I have is the water tank max level can’t be seen unless you take the whole thing out, which means extra time. The screen and product instructions are very detailed so after I read from cover to cover, it became self explanatory. It could have included some descaling liquid for a first time use. So hence 4 stars for some niggly bits otherwise 5stars.

Good for a quick cuppa

My first automatic coffee machine, coming from Moka pot and separate burr grinder. So much more flavourful coffee, more variety of coffee drinks and finally a decent latte macchiato. There is so much to explore and tweak, though the “comfort” setting is making good coffee drinks. My wife is slowly becoming a coffee connoisseur too. Machine looks very sleek in its stainless steel covers. Not as imposing as expected when installed in the corner, since frontage is reasonably slim. There is more cleaning than before, but I believe well worth the effort for the quality of coffee made. Uncertain about reliability since it has only been one week since setting up.

Bought this to replace my aging 12 year old Gaggia machin. Selected this machine as the new Gaggias water tanks are too small. Really very happy, 3 weeks in all great. Never thought making milk based coffees could be so simple and so mess free. My coffee of choice is American or small expreso and this allows for so much customization and saving into individual profiles I get just the coffee I like at the touch of a button. Also like that I can make 2 coffees simultaneously (like the old Gaggia). Why not 5 stars? because it's only been 3 weeks and can't comment on longevity. But it seems a well built quality product.
