Accept & closeFix up a treat for cubs of all ages with these bear-shaped pancakes!
Make your mornings even more scrumptious with pancakes that look just like Bear himself. Chef’s hats at the ready, it’s time to get stacking!
What you’ll need:
Make it extra special
Grab a bowl and whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter. Pour the wet mix into the dry and stir gently. Don’t worry about tiny lumps, they’re totally fine.
Pop a nonstick pan on mediumlow heat. Give it a light slick of butter or oil so nothing sticks.
You’re creating one big circle for the head and two little circles for the ears.
Head: Pour a medium circle of batter into the pan (around 10–12 cm). Let it cook until you see bubbles forming on top.
Ears: Spoon two small circles of batter at the top of the head. Place them close so they touch – they’ll join together as they cook.
Flip: When the edges look set, flip the whole bear in one smooth, gentle move.
Cook for another 30–60 seconds on the other side.
A few simple toppings do the trick:
Slide your bear pancakes onto a plate and tuck in! (Bonus points if you can make a whole family of them.)
