    Love it!

    5/5
Great machine with fresh Aromatic coffee at the touch of a button. First off, my mornings are all the better with some fresh, hot, milky coffee. The machine is compact with a smaller tank, but quite long in length still. It fits great for the space I created though. The tank is easy to pull out for refilling, it is quick and simple to add the coffee capsule (after picking from so many different strengths/flavours), it is a little stiff to close after adding the capsule to the machine but nothing that is bothersome. Once in, it's as simple as a click of the button before the air fills with the fresh aroma of coffee. If you forget to refill the water tank and it is empty, if you have the device connected to your phone, it'll let you know (this connection is very simple using your serial number and wi-fi), and yes I did this half sleeping! The machine is great and the coffee is delicious. I signed up to Nespresso with my serial number and got some free goodies along with my first full order of coffee. I've experimented with lattes of all flavours, using milk and coconut milk and I am never disappointed, and I am a huge coffee fan who can be hard to please. There such a variety to choose from in terms of flavour, strengths and sizes too, as well as half decaff (which I'm so excited for in afternoons), but my favourite in the mornings is actually the capsule that has B12 vitamin added, helps get through the early starts. I have enjoyed getting to use this machine and it's a much welcomed household item that has been used daily since it arrived. 100% recommend to everyone who genuinely enjoys coffee. The deals they have on when you buy the machine and register are even better, enabling you so much more for your money.

Great barista coffee at home- shame about the need for pod subscription

    4/5
I ordered my Nespresso Virtuo Pop Magimix on a Friday, it was delivered to me within 48h. The quality of the product and values of the brand are clear from unboxing, so great to see the box handle not typically plastic but instead a reinforced paper- love the Nespresso focus on sustainability. The machine itself is bigger than I expected, but is fine on the countertop tucked away in a corner. The in-built storage for used pods is great, I like the convenience of not having to replace and recycle the pod every time. I can empty the container when it suits me and I’ve got the time to empty and rinse through the pods for recycling. I registered for an account on the Nespresso website, alongside my serial number to secure the warranty, and completed the form for the promotion to secure the £75 coffee subscription credit and free milk frother. Within 24h I’d had the proof of purchase and claim approved by Nespresso, and they sent through the code for the promotion to input into the website. It wasn’t overly clear to me from anything I’d read, about how the subscription worked. I think this should be made much clearer by Nespresso. To clarify: you take the subscription with an added delivery charge, (and in the case of the promotion, 50% of the subscription cost is discounted at source), which is then processed and credited to your account, for you to select the products of your choice with ‘free’ delivery (not free- I’ve already paid for it!). Noting here is where the catch comes in, the minimum order is for 50 capsules (10 per sleeve) but there are only 6 varieties (out of 48) at £4.40 each so totalling just £3 less than the £25 monthly subscription…If you want others from the extensive variety you will end up spending more than the credit value to meet the minimum delivery threshold of 50. That being said, the coffee is good! I like the variety, and the versions you can create with the steamed/frothed milk from the Aeroccino3. The Virtuo Pop is a great little machine for decent coffee when you don’t have the money/inclination to spend hundreds on a bean to cup machine. It’s a shame that it’s not more versatile in its own right, for milk-based coffee- without a separate machine- but perfect for black coffee. I would say that the machine is user friendly, although perhaps no good for people with poor grip/hand function, the twist turn on the top is very stiff. Decent coffee at home with a variety of flavours and tastes.

    Great little machine

This is a powerful and fantastic machine. I love the speed of the machine, I have tried a number of different machines but this one is super quick. I also find the sound rather therapeutic- it doesn't make as much noise as other machines and whirls rather than screams. The coffee tastes brilliant, frothy and consistent and does it every time. I've used this for nearly three weeks and it always give faultless coffee. The user experience is also good, easy to use. The water boiling takes c. 30 seconds and it is efficient. The time taken to make the coffee is c. 40 seconds. I also liked that I could override factory settings for some coffees, as I have a specific taste and milk proportion to my coffee. I would also say that the machine is beautiful. It looks amazing at home and feels modern.

Stylish machine but barista knowledge required

    3/5
Really stylish and compact machine which fits in my small kitchen. The drip tray cannot be used unless making an espresso as otherwise normal sized cups/mugs will not fit underneath! This means that I am having to clean coffee spills after each use. Unfortunately, this is a machine which requires a lot of testing in terms of coffee types and tastes and also requires milk to be added separately. Remember that coffee capsules are different sizes, and the size of the capsule will result in a different sized beverage. For this machine, a milk frother is essential! Machine is easy to use once you watch the video tutorial, and the time it takes to make a coffee is around a minute. The water jug at the back of the machine will hold enough to make around 3 mugs of coffee. I wish there were more information about the coffee pods included with the machine as that would be a bonus!

Compact coffee pod machine which meets our needs but it does have a very small water tank which needs regular topping up.
