    Solid Oven not Flimsy

    5/5
Very Happy Great solid product and defiantly not a flimsy peace of kit. Only slight Negative feedback is that it did not come with a very good instruction book and had to google to find out what each dial setting meant. My Wife is a chef and she is pleased so double tick from me.

    Smeg range cooker

Our first Smeg cooker was faulty and had to be returned, however the replacement cooker was fitted a few days later. We are delighted with the new cooker as the hobs cook so fast. The main oven takes a little getting used to with the different settings but overall we are very pleased with it. The AO delivery/fitter teams were excellent.

    Nice!

So far so good. First induction hob but seems to be efficient and effective. Managed to cook a successful Christmas Day dinner for 16! Love the ease of cleaning the hob after changing from an iron rivet gas hob.

Fantastic to use, easy to level to the floor and set up, but the cooling fan after the oven has been used does seem to run for a long time and is pretty noisy

    Disappointed

    2/5
Not very impressed so far with the oven. The instruction manual is really vague and I have absolutely no idea how to use it to it's full potential. I was not asked about the fuse I had and there are 2 differing opinions of which fuse is required. There is a 'rope' type thing going round the inside the cooker door which looks like it will last a few weeks only. The cooker appeared to lose power during a long cooking time on Christmas day, my sister had the same problem with the same oven. Very disappointed

    Don’t settle!

The induction job is AMAZING- so fast and responsive, and easy to use. Love the fact that pan/tray handles etc don’t get hot while using, and any spills/splashes can be cleaned immediately, as it’s not too hot to touch. I love that I can use my enamel pots and trays on the top (as long as the base is magnetic!) The appliance looks very impressive- but is a bit let down aesthetically by the plastic legs…at least on the one that AO delivered the legs went on straight- we rejected five separate deliveries of this range from a different supplier, that had obviously been damaged, with the legs attaching to a wonky base as a result! There were a few rust speckles on this one when it arrived (which I’ve buffed out), and I’m not 100% convinced the lining of the small oven has been shaped properly as there is a couple mm tiny gap where the metal meets. The upstand also looks a tiny bit bowed… yes I’m being picky, but at this price I expect perfection (and having rejected 5 lemons I guess I’m looking harder!) The twin grills are a great feature, and the big oven comes with 3 trays and a shelf (I’d prefer more shelves than trays but won’t argue!). Could do with more shelves for the small oven, which comes with one tray and one shelf…. The storage compartment is nice and roomy. The specifications detail removable inner door glass, and the manual seems to support this- I haven’t tried yet, but it’s hard to see how the glass separates as it looks bonded to the frame…. It’s still early days, but so far, we love it - as long as you don’t get a lemon, it’s a fab bit of kit! (I couldn’t find any alternative that seemed to tick all the boxes, which is why we kept just crossing our fingers for a decent one!)

First time induction hob user, very impressed!

Brilliant oven. My first venture into induction hob cooking for a big wok user. Got myself a flat bottom induction friendly wok and just as good as my old ken hom on gas! Turkey going in oven today and will be using the built in temp probe. Great price, service and delivery from AO.
