I cannot fault this particular range cooker at all. I previously been told that SMEG is style over substance which has, truth be told, put me off when purchasing other items for the kitchen. However, this time around I just happened to find this range cooker with the exact specifications we wanted as part of the Black Friday deals and with installation (and recycling) I couldn’t find any reason to be put off. I am so glad that I took the plunge. Between me and my wife we have really worked our new cooker. Perfect cakes and baked. Yummy roasts cooked amazingly (and done so much easier due to the double cavities). Christmas dinner this year was a breeze (and when is cooking for 10). So far the only thing we haven’t used is the grill in the second (smaller) cavity. I’m not worried though as I’m sure it’ll do as good a job as the rest of the functions (we have used the fan assisted grill in the main cavity). It also comes with a surprising number of accessories which I wasn’t expecting. As such, I haven’t had to worry about buying baking trays to fit - they’re included. I’ve rated this review purely on its functionality - after all, it’s what you buy a cooker for. However, as a side note; it looks lovely too. The style you expect from SMEG is there for all to see. So, all in all, it deserves 5 stars - no question about it. Thank you AO.

Ordering with AO was easy with flexible delivery and helpful delivery drivers. This process was pretty faultless (I haven’t had to raise any issues with AO so can’t comment on customer service after deliver, but prior to that was good). I was pleased with the cost of the product for its features (espcially as AO gave a promotional discount) and am pleased with the look of it. I’ve not had much chance to actually use it yet, however, seems well built with lots of features. The only downside so far is the sheer amount of packaging( of course you need some to protect in transit, but there was so much of it which smeg gave some waffle about being “compatible with the environment” whatever that means in terms of it being recyclable!

Amazingly easy to clean the main oven with the pyrolytic function. Performs well and looks good.

I have spent ages trying to find the right cooker and this one seems like it fits the bill. Really nice looking oven with the all important self cleaning function which you don't normally get at this price range.

I can't say enough good things about this range cooker, which is worlds away from my previous oven and hob. It's so lovely to look at, super easy to use and I love the small oven for kids weekday meals (perfect for fish, fingers, chicken nuggets and sausages!). My husband cooked the perfect Sunday Lunch in it last week and absolutely loved all the space, making it a total breeze to cook for lots of people. Looking forward (rather than dreading) to cooking the Christmas turkey this year! There's literally nothing I don't like about it, and the storage at the bottom for roasting dishes is a godsend.
