Looks great, unfortunately it doesn’t work.I t is allways a daunting prospect spending a £1000 on anything but when it doesn’t work it is pretty concerning and very disappointing

Mediocre product and poor customer service.

    2/5
Smeg product is ok. Terrible customer services AO delivered the item on time but it was missing the essential shelves just before Christmas. We were informed we would get these before Christmas but they never arrived. Terrible service. We are still waiting after two deliveries. AO claim it’s nothing to do with them but they take your money, play the middle man, take the profit but shirk responsibility. The oven itself is ok. I was expecting better paying the premium price but have not been overly impressed. We should if purchased the rangemaster we originally ordered.

looks great , continuous grill faults , burners blown sideways by the oven fan , rattles noisily when oven is on and continues whilst eating dinner.

Bad wok burner ring and wok stand

    2/5
I think this is a good cooked however the top no matter what looks dull no matter how much you buff it to try make it shine .you have to be quick so it don't get water marks .and the middle burner ring keeps getting black marks since I bought it beginning to think it's a fault .I can't see where or how it's happening and put in sink to wash and it's not helped at all .and the wok holder looks so cheap and looks like its off another cooker like the ring that keeps getting the marks on .

Same fault all within the first couple of months of use

    2/5
Installed in October, didn't use for a couple of months because we were preparing for new kitchen and wanted to wait to use it. Used a few times in Dec as kitchen install was delayed and a fault quickly appeared after a few times of use (oven thought the door was open, when it was shut, which also meant the light was permanently on, wasting energy). Engineer was called out after they had ordered parts (took nearly two weeks). Fixed in January. Same fault has appeared this weekend (early February). Really didn't expect this from a brand new oven and now totally lost faith in it, even if it was to fixed again it will feel like a ticking time bomb.

    Good until it wasn't

Was quite happy with it until the main oven broke (at < 5 months old). We have now been waiting >2 months for a fix. Engineer cannot work out the problem and Smeg very difficult to contact. Very unhappy.

Main oven not working and no fix for two weeks

    2/5
The main oven developed a fault after for or five weeks. Even if the appliance is turned off/on from the mains the locking mechanism is deployed and it's not possible to use the oven The Smeg contractor had no appointment for two weeks and so we currently only have the smaller oven which isn't much use for much other than the grill.

    Noisy fan.

    2/5
I bought this oven at the end of last year and had it installed last week. It looks great but the fan is really really noisy. I’m surprised as this didn’t come up in any of the reviews I have read. I wouldn’t have bought it if I had know as our kitchen is also in our living space and so it is quite an intrusive noise. Perhaps this could be a fault though it seems otherwise fine.
