Appearance ok, but all much flimsier and lighter than previous range cooker. Knobs very light, back splashback/vent - very light weight and wobbles and will be hard to clean. Poor information on size when actually installed due to lack of detail of profile of back of cooker and positions required for pipework. So much so that it cannot be pushed against the wall and you can see the pipework behind the cooker. Much more information required.

Looks good and main oven has been cooking all kinds of food really well. Top is easy to clean. Disappointed with the size of the second oven as can’t fit any pans in it. Would be better if the oven cane with more than one shelf.

Just had the oven replaced after having the engineer out 6 times. Can’t say I recommend the oven we’ve just chucked back but the new one seems like a facelift model, subtle differences. Let’s hope this new one is better. AO have been brilliant, liaising with Smeg on our behalf. And realised that a 7th visit from Smeg wouldn’t be accepted even though they wanted to. Then AO replaced the oven. Bosch oven brought in the last house still going strong 7 years later so would I buy Smeg again? No. German all the way. Full marks to AO, 0 marks to Smeg so, overall, 3 stars

It's not too bad cooks food adequately but you can tell it's at the cheaper end of the range cooker spectrum, the small oven door is a bit wonky too although it seems to close the gap on the side is wider at the bottom than the top which does irritate me slightly when I look at it. If I had the money I would have bought something more expensive and better quality.

Meets our needs and a nice looking range. 2nd oven is definitely narrower than you imagine and takes a while to get used to - plus because it's narrow it gets dirtier easier and doesn't have the pyrolytic cleaning function so I can see a lot of scrubbing will be required in... well perhaps a year or 5 (the usual timescale for oven cleaning!). Annoyingly the main oven light cannot be switched on when you want without opening the door or changing the function (which clearly isn't necessary if you just want to check on your food). A little surprisingly, the main oven light went after 3 months of use though so far the service response has been quick (pending visit).

Both ovens preheat much quicker than my old oven and I was impressed that the doors still feel cold when the oven is on, my old one wasn't like that. It seems to circulate the heat well as things cook faster than in my last fan oven. Be aware of that when getting used to it or you'll over cook things. Must be great for cakes, was certainly good for making Yorkshires. The hobs would occasionally go off at the start but that has stopped, must have cleared the pipes. It did cut off the gas at the same time which is reassuring. 4 stars rather than 5 because the main oven only comes with 1 shelf and a grill tray (with no wire grid) 1 shelf is crazy for an oven like that. Will need to get another one separately

Getting used to it but seems great. Small things like the size of the smaller oven for trays etc and strange whistling noises from the hobs still not getting in the way of us being overall pleased with the range.
