    Faulty when purchase

    1/5
Nice looking cooker but unfortunately the fan wasnt working when installed which resulted in the knobs in getting very hot to touch and melted the chrome away. Fairplay to cookmaster though they arranged for engineer to come out and offered a replacement. Had to choose another cooker as we didn't trust this one in case the same thing happened further down the line.

    Poor Quality

    1/5
I have had this cooker for just over a year and the quality of it is extremely poor. Firstly it never heats up as much as it should meaning food takes much longer than it should to cook. Also, the handles on the cooker doors are extremely loose and difficult to screw back on and when I have screwed them back on they soon become loose again. The handles also become very hot when the ovens on. The control knobs will not last because already the shiny coating on top of them is starting to bubble. We would never buy this cooker again and highly regret having spent so much money on it. I rated 1 star for each aspect of the cooker so that others hopefully read my review and think twice about buying this cookmaster oven.

    Range

Disappointed there is no glass lid like our previous range had. Very poor instructions on connecting the gas. A good range of burners.

    Burning problem

    3/5
Bought this cooker as my old one had burnt itself out. Very nice looking. A couple if niggles, the handles and the control knobs get hot! Also food near to the gas burner burns way before anything else is cooked. I am beginning to regret buying it!

    Hot Handles

The oven looks great but when we first turned it on to burn off the internal residue the door handles got really hot.

    A little disappointed

    3/5
We bought this in March and it looks amazing. The rings on the hob work well, although it is not instant. You have to hold the button for 15 seconds for it to light. The ovens are a disappointment in my opinion. The top shelf cooks well but the middle does not seem to have the same heat output so does not cook as it should. This is it's downfall, For the price I expected better

    Oven temperatures difficult to control

    3/5
I love the look and build of my cooker, but find it very difficult to control the oven temperatures, some of the settings on the dial (4,5,6) are very close together, and I find the actual oven temperature achieved bears little relation to the setting. I have had to buy oven thermometers to achieve the correct temperatures and it's very much trial and error. Have had the fitting engineer back 3 times but still not right and am awaiting a visit from company engineer. For example to get an oven temperature of 190 degrees which should be gas mark 5 I have to set the oven between 7 and 8, and conversely it's impossible to achieve a low oven temperature on the same oven as even on Mark 1 it heats up to 170 degrees! As a serious cook I find this very difficult. I run on LPG but this shouldn't make a difference when the cooker is sold as LPG convertible.
