The AEG cooker is a quality product well constructed and well designed and capable of cooking anything you need to make for any meal, cakes and pastries are a delight. I am very pleased with this cooker indeed.

Only had this oven 2-3 weeks, so still getting used to it. One difference is that there is an vent along the top of the lower oven door which blows right in ones eyes until the lower oven door is properly open. Not a problem when you get used to it. It's a replacement for a previous AEG oven of almost identical design, though we've not yet used the (new to us) catalytic cleaning facility. I've had no problems so far though the rack supports are a little differently placed and require forethought when baking in the top oven. We immediately purchased an additional rack for the oven, as only two are supplied. There is a third rack provided in the form of a roasting tray and accompanying wire grid which will only fit in the tray. AEG suggest in the manual that this can be used as an oven shelf to bake and roast, or "as a pan to collect fat". A little inconvenient if one wants two traditional racks in the lower oven and another in the upper, which I do quite frequently. This particular AEG model has been criticised for having the temperatures and icons printed on the dials, rather than on the backplate, which makes it difficult to select them as they are then above eye level for most people, and certainly me at 5 foot tall. Enquiries suggested that the model of the same number advertising a "brushed steel finger print resistant" backplate would be the one with markings on the backplate, but this isn't invariably mentioned on web page illustrations or in the specifications. I had to order blind, but thankfully I received the one I required with numbers on the backplate. Hopefully that is the newer fashion and the other style (much complained about) is now being phased out.

So far so good - only had it a short time so only given it a 4 Star rating, but if it carries on performing as it is easily upgrade to 5 Stars. Certainly an improvement on our old oven. Cooks evenly and efficiently. Only slight downside is there is no programmable timer so you can have dinner cooking for you will out. But overall good product.

Excellent product. Just renewed our 20 year old AEG oven with the equivalent modern version. So far very satisfied.

Previous comments on visibility of all control knobs now corrected, settings now indicated on front panel as well as knob. Very pleased with oven looks pretty. Smaller top oven bigger than expected but doesn’t seem to have overall effect on making big oven smaller.

Great item, glad that they had updated the control pad so there is no issues at all seeing the temp or mode. Warms in no time and cooks even better than the last AEG model i had. So good in fact, that my Mother copied and purchased one. Value and item are both fantastic

A great replacement for our old AEG built in electric double oven. This one has additional elements in the main cavity which is great for browning the top or crisping the bottom whilst fan cooking. Some comments on here complain that the controls are difficult to see, but our model had markings both on the knobs and on the body of the oven so no problem at all. The grill tray and rack can be used as either a shelf that catches drips, or a grill pan, so extra value there.

Have been using it for a few weeks now and find it simple to use , economical as gets up to temperature real quick would definitely buy this again thanks AO
