    Instructions useless

    4/5
Never having used a food processor before I found the instructions very difficult to understand . Also the print and graphics were so minute I had to print out an enlargement to be able to read them. There is no video on u tube or anywhere else showing in detail how to put this particular processor together or which attachment to use .

    Compact and Neat

    4/5
processor is very compact and neat. It took me a while to understand the instructions as the mix of pictures and multiple languages is a bit confusing. I still haven't worked out what some of the bits do! It does everything I need, positive lock on bowl, effective slicing and creaming so I am happy.

    Great food processor

    5/5
I bought because is a which Best Buy at a reasonable price. It had everything you could possibly need in a compact machine. I like that the blades came with a storage and then could be stored inside the processor bowl. The blender is a good size, we used it for sauces, smoothies and soups. The processor is good, quick and easy to use. The annoying part is the instructions, or lack of...They are pictures only and the ones that make more sense are on the box (am I supposed to keep the big box it came with?) Apart from that it is very good and will get lots of use.

Excellent but the mini chopper needs a rethink

    4/5
I've had the food processor for about a month and used it for various dishes and batch cooking. The slicers and graters are excellent and get through large quantities in a flash. I like that you can choose between course or fine (it sliced all the veg for a bolognese sauce, veggie ramen and salads). The blender attachment is great for making large quantities of soup - be sure to steam/boil rather that fry/roast veg beforehand to get a good consistency. I had high hopes for the mini chopper attachment but was disappointed. It was useless with fresh herbs and with garlic, chilli and ginger, it misses a lot of chunks as they get stuck under the blade. Additionally, it just doesn't chop as fine as expected and is not water tight. I've not yet used the dough attachment. I found the packaging a bit overkill with the sheer amount of polystyrene and plastic and the instructions are not exactly intuitive. I am happy with my purchase despite these negatives and the processor seems built to last.

Tefal DO821840 3 Litre Food Processo

    5/5
I was delighted when I received the Tefal Food processor. It had everything you could possibly need in compact machine. I liked that all the blades came with a storage and then could be stored inside the processor bowl was great. The jug was a good size, we used it for sauces, smoothies, milkshakes and soups. It made enough for us all. The processor is good, quick and easy to use. I would say there's a particular knack to getting the top to click in. The minus points...The instructions were by picture only and there were only three recipe suggestions and I would have liked a few basics and how to... Overall its good and will get lots of use.

    Good purchase but challenging instructions

    4/5
I bought this for my adult daughter following a positive Which? review. She has started using it and is happy with the purchase, except for the inadequate instructions. There are 8 accessory parts, but no labelled diagram of what each is. What text is supplied is in lots of languages, but those who produced it could have been much more helpful with the content. Searching for online advice, I found many reviewers have struggled to get going with it and I conclude that persistence is required. If buyers are happy to put this effort in, the Tefal DO821840 food processor seems a good buy.
