Really Expensive! But is it worth it? Ease of Use and Functions 5 Stars Really simple, strong design, lights up inside the drum, can be plumbed in to the waste water pipe or you can use the tank at the top and empty in to a plant pot. Has WiFi capability that links so a Samsung washing machine with smarthub. Generally a fantastic put on and forget machine where even my extremely expensive dont put in a dryer clothes and jackets come out soft and fluffy. Then after empty the filter which is really easy to do. Sturdiness. 5 stars. Just seems like they didn’t skimp and everything is value for money. Loudness. Very very quite, even more so in a laundry cupboard. Would I buy again. Hmm this is a tough one, I had a standard dryer from zanussi that lasted 10 years and it was a bit of an expense to run but it worked. The only reason I got this dryer was for my expensive shirts that I have to hang in the garden or around the house which annoyed me. If you have 700 pounds of cash itching your palms then buy it but as someone that splashes money around a fair bit.. I feel it’s me being lazy. If you have a family of moors than 3. You will see the value. If you’re a guy that’s just being lazy you will see the value but everyone else. Get the standard version without WiFi.. you’re not going to miss anything.

So far, so good. Replaces a 2year 2 month old (lightly used 2 times a week when weather bad) Samsung Heat Pump model (just out of warranty) with failed heat pump. Samsung were less than helpful in arranging someone to look at it (I was happy to pay) so got an independent to look at it who diagnosed heat pump failed. Disappointing as very little use. (Quoted cost for repair was £600 if and when they could get the part which was out of stock!) Why buy another Samsung? When it worked brilliant and at the moment it has 5year warranty (in my opinion essential). Make sure you register 5 year warranty you have been warned

OMG what can I say about this Heat Pump Dryer. It is brilliant, best thing ever. What I noticed it the Smart Meter dial has not move into the red, so it is definately saving me money. The performance of the machine is perfect. The only thing is I wish it was black instead of dark grey.

Outstanding machine.. was a bit nervous about buying a machine that had the heat pump as I’ve heard a lot of bad things but after taking the chance and buying the Samsung machine we was over the moon with its performance.. the machine looks slick and really does perform well. Another bonus which we never even realised until we received it is that it has a waste water pipe so can be connected up to the waste drain instead of having to empty the water every time you use the machine.. would definitely recommend in a heartbeat

At the moment its good. Quiet, big, does the job. However the smartthings app, not the best.. lots time need to reinstall ,as does not work properly..Also can not switch on the dryer with it..so does not really make sense to have it.. Be aware, the Samsung customer service useless. Manual not says clearly how can be connected to the wifi.. after called 3 times them, still nobody could says that need to press the " smart Control "for 6 seconds and there is the Wifi ON/OFF options.. That's all why my dryer did not connected to the wifi, but nobody could help.. I had to manage for myself..to find it out how things work. Also ao did not offer straight replacement ( was purchased 3 days ago, so they should , if its in 28 days happened, and the device faulty/ does not work well). Even when I talked 3 times with the manufacture company... They just always came up with the " need to talk with the samsung customer service". In the end, the device not faulty, but if I dont spend hours to find it out the problem's solution, what will I do?! Lucky I could sort it for myself.

Old tumble dryer died so started doing some research on a replacement. Found that Heat Pump dryers used less than half the power of a regular condenser. This model was one of the more expensive ones but it takes a 9kg load, has an A+++ rating & offered wifi connection to control via an app on your phone. It is very quiet compared to our old dryer which is an added bonus as we tend to dry things at night when we have a cheaper rate for our electric. A neighbour recently bought a heat pump dryer (not this model) and told us that it did not do a good job of drying the clothes. No such problem here, as the towels and general clothing have all been nice and dry. Not tried the hygiene care mode as of yet Like the tray that comes with it so that you can lay jumpers and delicates flat for a drying cycle. It also comes with an hose to connect into your sink drain, but this is not required. By default the water it extracts gets sent to the condenser tray at the top. So it was really east to install, just plugged it in and slid under the kitchen work surface. Also has a double lint filter to catch the fluff from your clothes. So very happy with it so far and still exploring osme of the options. By using it at night I'm hoping to save quite a bit of money compared to the old dryer, so should recoup my investment over it's life time

All good so far. So much quieter than other machines with lots of other useful settings, along with looking really quite stylish

Amazing tumble dryer. Drys clothes very quickly lots of additional helpful features like a light inside the drum and can control with my phone.
