Delicious coffee but milk frothing isn’t warm enough. I had read this in other reviews and didn’t think too much of it bc I don’t like really hot coffee drinks but if you don’t drink it within minutes it’s less than luke warm. Wouldn’t buy this machine again - would opt for a wand frother instead which actually costs much less!

Does not brew full cups very annoying

For people who are unaccustomed to coffee machines like me, it was a slight challenge to work out how to use it properly. However after a dozen or so attempts the process will become easier and the quality of your coffee improves. It's amazing tasting coffee (better than shop bought) and the selection of milk based beverages: latte macchiato, cappuccino and flat white are brilliant. They are all very professional in appearance and taste. Exactly what I was looking for. The only real issue is the amount of cleaning required. It comes with removable parts which need to be cleaned regularly. Also it has a self cleaning program which cleans the spouts. However a receptacle is needed to collect the excess water/milk as the drip tray is not deep enough to hold much liquid. One should be provided I think. It did only take 3 weeks for a message to appear stating that a de-scaling program was required which is okay as a couple of descaling solution packs are included but it remains to be seen how often this needs to be done (cost of descaling solution?). Overall, if you want quality coffee at home this is the machine for you. It might take a little while to get used to but it will be worth it!

I’m a bit of a coffee fan to say the least, some may say fussy but I say ‘particular’ and have wanted a bean to cup coffee machine for a long time. So, when I say AO had this machine at an incredible price, and with it being a De’longhi, I couldn’t say no. The Latte, Cappuccino and Flat whites are as good as you’ll get anywhere. The milk frothed great and you can get just hot milk if you want a hot chocolate. Be aware though, it doesn’t do expresso but the long black coffee is so smooth. I reckon I’ve made half the cost back already by not buying coffee in those greedy coffee shops that don’t pay proper taxes!

Delongie is an established coffee maker company. However, I believe it is good, but highly overrated and grossly expensive product. Technology is not stable, too many fiddly bits, and milk resovior fragile and too small. There has to be a better method for descaling steam cleaning, as not everybody is tech savvy, especially an infirm person trying to navigate all the fiddly bits which need to be removed, cleaned, put back etc.

It is a bit of a try and try again to get it set up how you want it, but once done great coffee at the press of a button. Some reviews say the coffee is too cold but I disagree. I have the temp on normal and you can make it hotter still in the settings. What more could you want. 4 stars only because of the menu system being difficult to set up, but 5 stars for the great coffee - I drink black americano style, which this calls long coffee.
