The Tefal GC713D40 Opti Grill is perfect for everyday family use. It is quite a bulky product but I believe this is so they could fit in all the awesome features that it has. When you first open the grill you will see that the bottom plate is slightly angled. This helps the excess fat/oil to drain into the drip tray. Both the top and bottom tray can be easily removed and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. They can be clicked back into place just as easily. On the handle of the OptiGrill you will find all the control buttons and the glowing LED cooking guide. The control buttons allow you to turn the grill on and off and change the mode to dedicated or manual. The dedicated modes are so you can have your meat (whether it's chicken, steak, bacon or fish) cooked to perfection and even cooked from frozen. The LED cooking guide allows you to see when your food is cooked correctly. The LED changes colour and beeps for every stage of the cooking. It glows pink when it's heating up, purple when it's starting to cook, yellow when it's rare, orange when it's medium and red when it's well done. This is perfect for when you are wanting to cook some steak to medium for your picky guests! Two features that I really loved about the OptiGrill was that it automatically switches to a warming stage after cooking so your food will stay warm without burning, whilst waiting for the rest of your dinner to finish cooking. Which is brilliant when you have a busy family life! The other feature that I loved was that it has an automatic sensor which helps the grill to thoroughly cook your meat by adjusting the temperature to suit the thickness. Pros: - Easy to remove plates - Slanted bottom plate to allow excess oil/fat to drain away - Automatic cooking sensor - Automatic warming stage to prevent burning - Colour changing LED and beeping notifications during cooking - Cooks meat to perfection! Cons: - Bulky which makes it difficult to store All in all I absolutely loved this product and highly recommend it!

This is an upgrade from the 1st Tefal Optigrill I purchased a few years ago. I have had a other health grills before stumbling on the Optigrill, but I must say the Optigrill is the best for 2 reasons. 1: the sensor is always spot on. the food will come out just how you decide. 2: the dishwasher safe plates are durable. I bough the upgrade as it is XL and has added a few more extra programmes, Toasted sandwiches & panini's being my favourite addition.

I have bought numerous grills in my time but have not quite matched the Tefal Optigrill. Cooks food to perfection, I have grilled Burgers,Chicken Breast & steaks so far and they have come out perfect. Especially the Chicken which comes out tender and moist not dry like most grills, even cleaning is a breeze, on a final note brilliant peice of machinery totally recommend buying one.

Should have got one earlier. Very healthy. Cooks food exactly as you want it. Go auto or manual. Very easy to use and clean as well. It is quite large but everything thing else outweighs this

Brilliant product recommended by my son as I am disabled and using oven is dangerous for me to get things into and out without difficultyUse of job not a problem. This product does all and more than stated easy to use , easy to clean and overall superb, very highly recommended 5stars

Love this product, it does exactly what it says and has cooked our chicken and steaks perfectly. Easy to use, great to be able to remove the plates and put in the dishwasher. Well worth the investment. We had a foreman before this and two things I hated about that, one no temperature control and unable to remove plates to clean.

I have just purchased this machine its fantastic and takes away any gueswork with cooking meat,fish etc. 5stars from me.
