This heat pump dryer takes hours to dry a small load. After an hour on cotton dry my socks, pillow cases and pants felt very damp . It may cost less to run but takes forever. My old dryer was so much more effective in a shorter time so surely that's more environmentally friendly. I bought this to match the washing machine but to be honest that's it's only good point. I do not recommend this expensive dryer! Do yourself a favour and avoid it. Also it is noisy. I wish I could send it back! ( I bought it in July and have only just started using it in November) I'm not a happy bunny.

Bought this dryer Monday, was delivered Wednesday. Bought this heat pump dryer as i have the matching washing machine so looks good together. Used the machine three times and was excellent, on fourth use i could smell a faint smell of burning but just put this down to the machine being new, 20 minutes later bang, and lots of thick smoke pouring out the machine, fortunately i managed to switch off the power at the wall and then tried to comprehend what had just happened. Called Haier and was told an engineer would call me within 48 hours, got a confirmation email to advise that the engineer had been booked and would be in touch, decided to call the engineer as was nervous about an electrical appliance with a defect being in the house, engineer advised that they had not been contacted by Haier so couldn’t come out to look at the defect machine. Decided to contact AO, they are going to replace the machine, which is great. Happy with AO, not so happy with Haier’s customer service.

Visually a really nice tumble dryer. Had it for a few weeks now and still need to have a proper play around with the settings as some cycles leave some of my clothes damp still but I’m sure I will figure it out! Great service and delivery from AO!

Overall really happy with the machine. Two things I’d mentioned that I wish I knew before: 1. There are two filters to clean - and one has a double layer. It’s not a problem and it’s really easy to clean but it was one more than I was used to with our previous tumble dryer! 2. It’s a little noisy! Not crazy amounts, but if you’re looking for a machine that’s super silent (eg: to put on at night next door to your bedroom), I’d recommend having a look around further. However for us this was not the priority concern - the fact it’s A+ was the main draw card and ALL the laundry has come out beautifully dry and fluffy so no complaints in terms of its functionality, really great buy. Also looks super sleek and beautiful.
