Bought the previous model, broke after two washes, got a replacement, last two and half years, just had this washing machine arrive today, locking mechanism does not work. Strongly advise not buying any washing machine from Hoover.

Terrible product. It was working fine for one year so basically warranty period. As soon that past within 2 months we had 4 times someone to come and fix it. Every time it was different part broken, we are waiting again for engineer to come and fix it. We purchased it in January 2021 and in February 2022 problems started. We have April and 4th visit to this washer/dryer. It is a joke

A terrible experience. The machine gets ‘stuck’ at certain parts of the cycle. It sometimes makes such an awful noise that we have to leave the room and shut the door on it. We’ve had a Hoover serviceman look at it - he could find nothing significant wrong, so we’re going to have to contact Hoover again. (We’ve only had the machine for about three months so we think the fault is AO’s to resolve, legally). We have an audio-video recording which confirms the awful noise - it really is bad!

The noisiest machine I’ve ever known, I thought the house was being shook by an earthquake and it sounded like a plane taking off, . The start button needs pressing for ages for anything to start, to be honest a bad choice of washer, not what I expected at all from hover, it’s also very complicated to use. As a positive, it save me buying a massage chair fir my living room, not that I wanted one, but all I have to do is sit in my chair and when the spin comes on every chair in the house because a strong massage chair.

Disappointed with build quality

Extremely dissatisfied with this appliance. The installation service by AO engineers was very poor with no attention paid to need to use the appliance's adjustable legs to level the unit. After the first use and large amounts of water leaking from the appliance I spent two hours fault finding and eventually adjusting the legs to level the unit. The appliance is still leaking water from the underside of the unit amongst other faults; softener not being drawn from detergent drawer and fault lights showing. Overall, very disappointed and will be pursuing a refund for this purchase and the installation service.

The touch pad only works if you use the side of your hand and slide it down or up. It doesn’t work if you simply touch it with your fingers even the installers couldn’t get it to switch on or on settings using fingers. Don’t recommend for the price.
