I really don’t like this tumble dryer. The water tank is at the bottom behind a panel so not easy to access to empty. Condensation builds up on the glass door during use which then drips on the floor when opened. The timer function doesn’t seem to work jumps from 2 hours to ten minutes and then stays on ten minutes until you manually stop up. I am trying to return this to AO to excerpt another model but not getting on very well.

Doesn’t really warrant a rating of 1, but this is as low as it goes.Terrible dryer, I’ve had many condenser dryers over the years, this takes hours to dry, doesn’t reverse tumble so everything ends up in a ball, water collects and leaks from door. AO haven’t been helpful at all regarding a replacement and hoovers call out charge is 70% of dryers purchase price. Avoid as there are much better alternatives on the market.

Overly complicated & too many programmes Utter nightmare trying to dry sheets etc whichever programme you use; just ties everything up into one great big ball which you then have to untangle and stick back in (bearing in mind that at this point sheets are boiling hot and steaming so I’d say risk of scalding) It was all we could afford, it’s better than nothing for drying clothes but my old vented tumble dryer never did this to sheets. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Was broken when it arrived had to wait a week to be repaired so haven’t had a real chance to check it out

I bought this dryer as a replacement for a hotpoint dryer ehich was too old to repair. Firstly the dryer should not be used in a garage, why, becausr for some reason it has an internal tank that cannot be emptied. Secondly to empty the water tank you have to take te kick plate off fully and pull the tank out from inder the machine. Thirdly we cannot find a programme in the ine instruction book, namely cottons. None of this was in the advertising material.

Not impressed, quite loud, fluff gathers by the door instead of in the filter and clothes have fluff on them. The cycles sometimes take longer than shown on the indicator. The door gets very hot not safe if children are around.

This review is probably not a true reflection of the machine. Mine arrived with an ill fitting control panel, couldn’t use WiFi as it wouldn’t recognise machine. When registering it, it came up as a candy machine. I know they are Hoover-Candy but if they’re the same machine, I’ve paid more for a ‘Hoover’’. To empty the water from condenser, to get kick plate off you have to really pull it, no hinge so it crashes to the floor (this could just be a problem with mine). However, after sales are very good (if a bit slow) and I’m now waiting for a replacement. If my machine wasn’t faulty I’d just say it’s noisier than I thought it would be and if it’s standard for no hinges on the kick plate then that’s not good as it will eventually break.

AO were excellent and delivered it on time. First the positives. It dries the clothes well and is quiet. Product is a little disappointing for two reasons. The first is that the tank is down at floor level, so you have to practically get down on your knees to access it. No good if you had mobility issues. Secondly, the information booklet isn’t as clear as I would like. I am still struggling to work out how the timings work on one of the settings. Very difficult to understand. The preset settings are easy but run for far too long.
