Main Oven failed - Awkward Controls

    1/5
The Main Over failed after less than a year. The controls for the hob are awkward to operate. You need to select a ring from the touch area and then slide your finger around to adjust the setting. It is easy to end up changing the wrong ring.

    Style over substance

It’s an impressive looking product and the induction is quite responsive. However the dial to use the different jobs is quite difficult to use and a bit temperamental. Plus the induction is quite noisy. The right tall oven is very noisy and very powerful probably hotter than temperature set. Grill excellent. Bottom left oven is good but drips from condensation. Wouldn’t rush to buy another. Shame. Looks so good but the performance doesn’t quite match the looks.

    Poorly packaged

Poorly packaged, not protective film on stainless steel. Arrived damaged and scratched. Pictures email to ao and called but still no response from them. Cooker works ok. Sides get extra hot compared to previous oven.

    Alright for the price

We bought the cheapest induction range, it's fine but we wish we'd paid a little more. It makes a lot of noise, weirdly, and the ovens are smaller than our old belling.

Overall very pleased bar a few minor niggles

    4/5
This is a great oven and hob. The induction hob is sleek, easy to clean and easy to use - very responsive to changing settings. The ovens are also generally good - would have liked the grill to also have the option to be used as an oven too. The biggest down side is that the description says the timer is programmable - however by this they mean it will let you know when a timer has finished, rather than being able to turn on or off according to set times - which was what I had understood it to mean. Not a feature I would have used loads but a shame to not have it. Looks great in the kitchen and overall very pleased. One of the oven shelves arrived with a manufacturing fault but Beko customer service were very helpful and are sending a replacement so can’t complain.

    Good bit some critiscisms

    4/5
The cooker works well and despite the shock of having to replace our Stellar saucepans I give it four stars. The induction is an advance how fast it hears up food. In comparison to our old Belling the ovens are a bit noisier and heat up a bit slower, and also using an oven thermometer both ovens are cooler by ten degrees than the dial says so-for 200 degrees C need to put dial to 210. Also the controls for the hob are a touch fiddly, not always responsive to touch when setting heat level.
