I bought this SMEG 50’s Retro Kettle to compliment our SMEG toaster. It’s nicely made and is high quality with a positive switch on and off. It pours really precisely too without any splashing. Great purchase.

Although it may sound odd to get excited about such an everyday item, I absolutely love this kettle! It is a joy to use and makes me smile every time I do so - well made, sturdy and the colour is beautiful.

Have been looking for a decent kettle for a while now and was moving home and decided to go all out and get a Smeg as I know they are of good quality and reliable products, yes a bit more pricey than other brands but for what you get it is definitely worth it. I got the slate grey which is a lovely dark grey colour which fits in with my kitchen decor. The smoothness of the opening of the lid, the power button is easy to press down and is quite a quiet boiling kettle and fast too. Not that heavy to fill/lift and pouring action is really good. I would recommend this kettle.
