Not yet fully installed but initial thoughts are that the product is very noisy. This was an expensive purchase so I am a little concerned.

Good points: looks absolutely fab, solidly built and good quality. Noise: well…. Run the machine extractor without the ducting connected and its super quiet. If like me you have to drop to 100mm and wiggle a bend or two as your outside wall is to the left or right and you run across top of units, then the noise goes up. Its not intolerable Performance: offsetting the noise, wow! This works, it like standing in a jet engine backwash! Didn’t realise just how poor my old (different brand) one was Niggles: it always comes on at power settings 2… quite honestly power setting 1 is more than enough… so you have to keep turning it down. That it a big irritation for this price unit. Either default start at 1 or power setting it was switched off at. Extra/disposable or washable grease filters- cannot be fitted… personally i would like the option as no matter how effective the gauze is, some always gors internally. No old model could have additional layer added. AO Service: excellent… from order to delivery.

Works well

The lights shine on the back of the hob leaving the front of the hob rather dark and also not warm and bright lights but cold and blue. The extractor if quite good but you need it on least 2 to be effective for say steam. Overall like the design though it difficult to see where to hit the black class panel to start it without a light on in the first place. Wondering how touch pad really works for. Liked the energy rating as we are using it mutiple times for different cookings in an evening Not sure how much replacement filters are.

Just had it installed and it looks great and after a first use, very happy with it.

Brilliant product! Slim, quiet and effective.

Quality cooker hood. Some care is required during installation to ensure placement of mounting holes. I also purchased the standard recirculation kit from Siemens.
