The AEg 9000 washing machine is a great product, it has a lot of smart functions and autosenses the load and corrects the program to ensure washi is correctly done. I really like the water softener capability my clothes are coming out a lot softer. The 1400 spin speed also dried the clothes pretty well during spinning. If I had one small complaint the wash times are all very long

Far quicker and quieter than our previous washing machine. Although on the expensive side seems to be worth the extra cost. Only long term usage with no hassle (breakdowns etc.) will back this up. A free extended warranty of 5 years may offer some clue as to what AEG expect from the machine.

I was very happy with the dryer I bought in April so this was the obvious choice when I needed a new washing machine. It's everything I expected it to be. It's quiet, simple to use. Its senses alter the wash programmes to suit the load. It's very gentle on woollens, which keep their shape. Keeps my whites white. Drum is big so I can fit a large load in. Ive used the steam function on my uniform and to refresh a wash that was left in the drum for 3 days. I'm really happy with this machine.

I needed a new washing machine and wanted a machine that offered me an energy rating A. The 900 AbsoluteCare 10KG is fast and energy-efficient and comes with so many features. My first impressions upon unboxing the machine was that it was very stylish, I liked the black and white theme and the modern looking door. The machine has been installed in my almost completed utility room! It sticks further out compared to my tumble dryer, so do thoroughly check the dimensions, like I did, if you have a tight space. The machine has many different spin cycles to choose from, I tend to use Absolute Wash, it cleans everything in 49 mins! I got the absolutely large 10kg machine, which is great for us as I tend to store up clothes until the end of the week! However, if you need to do a small batch, like I tend to do when I’m doing hand towels etc. the ProSense technology sensor adapts the cycle to the load, so very handy and makes energy sense, smaller load = less time, but still the same clean you’d expect. I’ve used the ProSteam® setting on garments that I’ve only worn to a short while; it gives the garment a little refresh and also reduces creasing. A great setting for keeping clothes looking good without having to stick it in with the main load. There is an app to control your washing with your smartphone. It says it My AEG Care app but it’s actually just called AEG. It has child lock if you’re worried about children accessing the machine. It has a Remaining Time Indicator which is great if like me you’re keen to know when your laundry will be all done! I like Audible End of Program sound to alert me, other than that it’s actually pretty quiet. I absolutely love the drum light, it should be called ‘AbsoluteLove’! No sock left in the drum! It’s a very interesting machine and what separates it from the others is it’s attention to fabric care, washing wool, delicates or sporting garments you’ll have every type of wash available for your needs. It has a 5 year warranty. I would recommend this machine absolutely!

When I purchased this washing machine I had very high expectations and I am happy to say that I was not let down! The quality is great. The feel of the swivel programme selection has a great feel to it. It looks amazing in my kitchen. The instructions in the user guide book were very clear. The only thing that in my opinion lets it down a little are the touch buttons. They work well but you have to be precise on the touch! I am not sure whether older people will be very fond of this feature. The programmes of this washing machine cover all of the aspects of different clothing and situations that I can think of. Having tried most programmes I am very happy to say it exceeded my expectations. My wife is very happy with the results as jeans, shirts and all the clothing is not wrinkled and pretty much does not require ironing. I was very impressed by the noise level when spinning, it’s so quiet! I was so used to the airplane noise that I guess is what most people think of a washing machine. Not this one! It goes through a wash and you cannot even hear it. Overall very happy with this product!! PS. I am personally very happy with the user interface, I am just not sure how older people or people with visual impairment are going to cope with the touch sensitive buttons that have no vibrating feedback to confirm the button has been pressed.

Very pleased to have got this beast of a machine after our previous washer/dryer combo had started to pack in, living in a busy household with 2 small children and the inevitable muck they bring back on their clothes, and a dog who likes to cover his bed in mud after each walkies the large 10kg drum size was particularly welcome. First impressions were very good, the machine itself looks as good as a washing machine can be, with some nice touches I hadn’t seen before such as a water softener and a light inside the drum which was very useful with ours being tucked away in a darker corner of the utility room. Loads of washing options to choose from on the machine itself, then even more on the app, including a guided wash program where you answer some questions about the load going in and then the app will make a custom cycle just for that load. Delayed finish also useful although not particularly innovative these days, however the connected services on the app mentioned previously really good – I work from home a lot but can’t hear the machine when it’s on with it being so quiet compared to older machine, so being able to get a notification on both my phone and smartwatch when the washing has finished helps me to remember to get it out before it sits in there for hours developing creases. On that note though, there are some programs that can help with refreshing clothes and/or removing creases such as the steam cycle which will give lightly soiled garments a good blast of hot steam to sanitise them and make them almost as good as new. Overall, I’m very pleased with the machine, as far as washing machines go it’s easily the biggest/smartest/quietest/best looking that we have had, or even seen when out shopping for kitchen appliances, very happy with this new addition to my ongoing (and futile) quest to see what the bottom of the laundry bag actually looks like.
