    Wow! Quiet and Efficient

    5/5
We are really impressed with this machine, as soon as it was unwrapped you could see that it was of good build quality. We have never had a washing machine with a built in softener before, it does make a difference and I was impressed by the light inside the drum when you open the door.We have tried quite a few of the washing programs, and all have come out clean and soft - the spin is good.Using the WiFi and App to set timers and being notified of the program finishing on my phone is great, it''s so quiet that if I''m working in my office upstairs I don''t hear it, it does beep, but if I''m in an online meeting or listening to music it''s nice to have my phone let me know the cycle is complete.Overall it''s a fantastic machine, looks good, is practically silent, and washes efficiently and well - it was so gentle with our wool wash. It also seems to be using less water and energy than our old machine, which helps with the energy bills. The 10kg drum is a good size, and it spins well.My wife is very happy and that is what matters most, thanks AEG!

    AEG powerful machine

    4/5
This is my first time using AEG brand and that to a washing machine. I'm genuinley impressed by its looks, built and the performance. In terms of the looks, nice simple classy white color and the controls complement very well. They are easy to use and the lay out is non cluttered with easy to read and use controls. Performance is really good. Not that noisy and functions really well. The additional capacity is truly a bonus for doing lots of washing at once. Light feature inside when the door opens is also handy. Built is strong and sturdy, Not too loud when the washing is in process and doesn't vibrate too much. All in all it's a good machine that delivers results brilliantly and would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a new well made washing machine.

Huge capacity and extremely quiet - an excellent machine!

    5/5
Our new AEG 9000 machine has been super impressive so far after 30 washes of use. Out of the box it looks and feels like a premium product and has done a great job washing. The huge capacity is a great for our big family and the interior drum light is a small but handy touch. The inbuilt softener also seems to result in really good results in the washed clothes (we live in super hard water area). Our favourite thing about the machine though is how silent it is, we can barely hear it running during the main programe and even the spin cycles are quiet. We've tried a wide range of the programmes, the 49 min Absolutecare programme is our most used and it does a fab job of cleaning at low temperatures with a pretty short time. The cotton programmes has resulted in whites coming out looking noticeably brighter (so I'm told by the wife) and it's great to be able to use the added steam options. It's coped with the dog hair easily and clothes often come out of the machine very nearly dry and (apparently are also much less creased than our prior machine). Positives - Super quiet - Huge capacity - Extremely efficient - Clothes come out much dryer and less creased - Cleans well on all programmes Things to know - At this price we would really have liked an autodose system - The prosense system dynamically changes timing on programmes. If you use a big 10kg load you might find the ~2 hour cotton programme going up to 3.5hrs Overall we are really pleased, cannot comment on reliablity so far but the 5 year warranty is great to see.

    Best yet

I remember having an AEG 20 years ago and loved it for years, but the technological improvements since then are just WOW. I've had a washer-dryer since moving as it was pre-installed but it was on its last legs and with the hike in energy prices, I never use the dryer so when I saw this new AEG, I jumped at it and I'm not disappointed. We have a broad range of washes to get through, from quick sports washes through to full bedrooms and pet hairs and it sails through the full range with ease and so nice to have a large drum that takes anything we can throw at it. We particularly like the fact that hairs seem to disappear. I'm just hoping it will last as long as the last AEG and then it will see us through for many years to come.

We are really impressed with this machine, as soon as it was expertly delivered and unwrapped by the AO guys, you could see that it was of good build quality. It was simple to plumb in and set up, although some of the instructions were wrong (the buttons were transposed for setting the water softness) . Filled it up with salt - never had a washing machine with a built in softener before, and I was impressed by the light inside the drum when you open the door. We have tried quite a few of the washing programs, and all have come out clean and soft - the spin is good. I did have a bit of difficulty setting up the WiFi app, but Electrolux solved the problem over the phone. Setting timers and being notified of the program finishing on my phone is great, it's so quiet that if I'm working in my office upstairs I don't hear it, it does beep, but if I'm in a Teams chat or listening to music it's nice to have my phone let me know the cycle is complete. Overall it's a fantastic machine, looks good, is practically silent, and washes efficiently and well - it was so gentle with our wool wash. It also seems to be using less water and energy than our old machine, which helps with the energy bills. The 10kg drum is a good size, and it spins well. My wife is very happy and that is what matters most, thanks AO and AEG!

I am so impressed with this washing machine. It is so quiet and efficient; this was the biggest shock as some mentioned it was not as quiet as others, but for us, it sounds silent compared to our old machine. I love that it has a 10kg drum capacity, perfect for my family of four. This means you can wash more clothes in one go, saving time and energy (with it’s “A+” rating also money £££). For example, we did all our holiday washing in just two loads, saving time and effort! The design also had my wife’s approval as the design and styling is very classy for such an appliance. It looks so good, I think I will also be pressured to upgrade the tumble driver to its matching brother/sister.The Pro-sense load check and warning are useful as specific programs have different load limits. This can lead to using the wrong program (which this machine has so many) and not getting as good a wash, so this reminder has been very useful. The AbsoluteCare system is impressive and has kept my clothes looking like new. I also love that it has a steam refresh function which is perfect for freshening up clothes and saving on ironing as it reduces the creases before folding and putting away. The only thing during setup that was a bit tricky was the Wi-Fi and app setup which didn’t work as expected on my Android phone but worked without issue on my iPhone. I recommend this washing machine to anyone looking for a high-quality machine that will last for years, which is not a lie, as it is backed by an extended five-year warranty direct from the manufacturer.
