Bought this in December 2019 and now having to purchase a new fridge freezer as the compressor has suddenly broken (I note another review stating the same after a similar period of time). Expected many more years out of this. Will stick to more well known brands with better warranties in future.

Good product, but I am missing a fridge shelf and still waiting for someone to contact me.

Setting up a fridge freezer shouldn't be this hard and time consuming. There was plastic wrapping in every nook and cranny and it was so difficult, time consuming and fiddly to remove. The freezer has polystyrene shoved into tiny holes behind the freezer drawers - it is impossible to remove. Surely the manufacturer doesn't expect us to practically dismantle the appliance and put it back together. There is nothing in the instruction booklet about unpacking or what to do before first use of the appliance. A truly appalling and unhelpful instruction booklet with lots of typographical errors. Lots of general information about how to store food (which is unnecessary) but very little about the actual appliance! I only bought this item because I was constrained by size and I suppose you get what you pay for. Unimpressed.

product seems to good, service was awful

Awful, flimsy product, came from AO damaged to the base near the compressor, like it had been dropped from height so the bottom was smashed. Contacted AO who issued a swap, driver contacted me the following day saying I would have to rebook the collection as he doesn't have space, so this would be 3 wasted days now spent waiting on hold, rearranging my delivery for a broken product. After the 2nd 20 minute wait on hold I told the advisor I wanted to cancel the whole thing as I can't in all good consciousness give these guys any more time and money. I spoke to the complaints team who weren't interested, just regurgitated the same line from their script over and over. So terrible service from AO, terrible product from fridgemaster, the fridge itself is lightweight, badly put together and looks like it would last a year or so at most, the pictures in the add make it look quite a nice unit but it came out the box battered and on closer inspection its easy to see why, it's like a large cool box with a plug, flimsy caca. Get a familiar brand and save yourself buying it again next year, it may cost a bit more but its bound to last longer than this junk.

I've had this for just over 2 years when the compressor went, costs too much to fix I'm very unhappy, until now though it's been great just don't expect it last more than 2 years.

Product arrived damaged and would not stand up. AO were brilliant about replacing it however.
