Great, but has a learning curve

Amazing stylus, especially for artwork. The cost is high though and not everyone will like the feeing of hard plastic on glass. Takes a while to be more efficient than just using you fingers on keyboard for note taking.

    Great so far

Haven’t had a chance to use it properly but at first use it seems great! Bought it to begin digital art and so far it’s very user friendly and just a good experience. Would recommend, would say it's quite expensive but I expect to get good use out of it and it seems to beat its competitors on almost every level so perhaps its worth it.

    Apple Pencil

I honestly think it is an accessory that is worth buying, even if you aren’t going to be drawing or sketching as it makes even simple browsing easier and requires you to stretch your hands less. The wireless charging is a godsend and I don’t have to worry about carrying around adapters and chargers.

“Pricey but well designed drawing/writing companion for iPad Pro

    4/5
Yes it’s expensive, but I found the Apple Pencil 2 to be a very useful tool for sketching and freehand drawing on my iPad Pro. Unlike the first gen Pencil, this one pairs easily (via magnetic connector) with no fiddly plugs. Keep in mind that older Pencils are not compatible with USB-C equipped iPads. The pencil is a comfortable weight and ceramic- like texture. My only gripe is that my writing style often “double-tapped’ the pencil and revealed the eraser tool. This can be sketched off in Settings. Required? No. Nice to have? Definitely!

    Better than expected

Seemed like a waste of money to pay this much for an iPad compatible pencil, but I spent it anyway because given the cost of the iPad itself it seemed like a drop in the ocean. I was very sceptical, however it is actually very good to use. There’s no lag time which makes it feel like you are using pen and paper, and I do get more out of my iPad being able to use this. Seems like a silly add on, but if you can suck up the additional cost I would highly recommend it. Not essential though.
