Worst microwave I’ve owned, last 1.5 years

    1/5
Terrible microwave. It lasted 1.5 years before all rusted and even before that I had to replace the card inside, the part inside that covers the microwave beam. Worst microwave I’ve ever owned! If you search this microwave model and look at lots of reviews, these complaints are quite common faults. I used the microwave 2-3 times a month to reheat the odd item. The deterioration was not from use but poor quality materials. I would have given 5 stars when I purchased it as to start with everything seemed fine so just be careful about all the early rave reviews.

    Panasonic microwave

    2/5
Worked fine to start off with, but then started to beep erratically whenever it wasn’t being used, which was really annoying if you were in another part of house. Also sometimes, none of the functions would work, despite re-setting - luckily this happened just within the 12 month warranty period, so got a replacement (but chose a different make)

    Well-designed, efficient microwave

    3/5
I am entirely satisfied with this microwave. It is well-designed, efficient and simple to programme & operate. If this microwave lasts longer than my previous microwaves, I would increase my rating to 4 stars.

    Smart looking microwave

    3/5
A little on the small side and gets very hot on the casing. A bit worrying as in the instruction book it keeps referring to over- heating and what to do if it catches alight. Very surprised for such a good make.

    Fine but fiddly

    3/5
It’s a microwave and it does what it says. Bit fiddly to use and a lot of small touch buttons so you have to be dexterity smart! It’s fine to be honest but nothing beats a dial to turn for ease of use!

They don’t make them like they used to

    3/5
I guess you pay for what you get. I had my last Panasonic microwave for 30 years!!! It was still working fine. We just wanted something smaller. Like everything, nothing is made like it used to be. It’s beep is ridiculously loud but I understand that’s standard now. Does the job, how long for, who knows....

    Pretty good product

    4/5
Ideal size for our kitchen. Works really well. Only downside is not having a quick start button or able to increase time cooking without stopping the cooking first.
