It doesn't clean properly and nothing stacks and stays where it should plus its bigger than advised and doesn't fit my integrated cupboards as promised now I can't arrange an exchange either! Don't buy this.

Washing cycles are far too long - 4 hours for a 60 degree wash. Wouldn't recommend.

Another excellent product from Hotpoint. We replaced our previous hard working machine with the same brand because we are confident in the reliability, albeit all products come to an end, but it gave us no problems up until then. The newer model has some very useful bonus features that we did not have before, the Delay programme is a no brainer, load the machine, set the delay and hey presto, it is done first thing in the morning to hang out, which also makes it cheaper to run. The pause programme function is also very useful, how many times have you forgot, or left something out, and it is a lot quieter on spin than our previous one. There are lots more to this machine, but so far we are really impressed, well done Hotpoint.

Not happy as the rapid option can only be used on certain wash cycles, so to do a 60c wash takes 3 hours plus!

It's a nice machine, but be aware that it apparently is designed to leak on the first use! I did the Auto Clean wash as advised in the set up instructions, all was fine until the last 3 minutes when water appeared from the base. On checking underneath it seemed to be coming from the drum. I rang the Hotpoint help line and was told that it is "quite normal" for it to leak on the first use, something about the water finding all the nooks and crannies. It made no sense to me, but I then went on to do a wash with clothes and it hasn't leaked since. It seems very odd and apparently doesn't happen with every machine. Apart from that, so far so good!

Washing machine seens really good now after using it for a week, it did leak to start with but hotpoint said this can happen during the first wash as the machine is sealing itself. Would have been useful if it said this in the instructions though.

This is the best machine that we have had in our 58 years of married life. It has a quick wash, a fast quiet spin along with the economical cold wash .

Good - quick wash is really good and brings clothes lovely and clean, but a 60 degrees wash is over 3 hours long!
