Is it really A++++ when needing to be put on multiple times

    1/5
Understand this is new technology but this machine cannot handle a full load of anything. What ever program is used and time says 2 hours for example, multiply that by 3 and after it has finished always keep the door open due to condensation within the machine as water sits in the bottom of the condenser which according to the engineers is perfectly normal. Unfortunately this machine looks good but in the 6 months that we have had this machine 3 callouts and each time over a month for the engineers to arrive we are now stuck with this machine.

Nothing tumbles in this dryer it knots it

    1/5
If I could leave no stars and go minus I would. Do not buy this one way rotation cold dryer. To be short and blunt . When you want to dry your bed linen you have to keep taking out the duvet and wrestling with a tight ball every 10 minutes do not underestimate how tight it gets and you can only put it in on it’s own as it will drag everything that is in there into its core. I have made a vey expensive mistake please do not make the same. I have no good things to say it also takes a day to dry stuff and if you think that the programs work they do not when you find your best dry time and heat setting you use that one for all

Cheaply constructed in almost every way

    1/5
I have never seen such a cheap feeling machine. Both the inner and outer window on the door is made from some of the cheapest feeling plastic iv ever come over. The door it's self is so lightweight you can not swing it shut you need to push it all the way Bach to the catch which is also made of plastic unbelievably cheaply constructed. My old Hotpoint condenser dryer lasted 15 years if this lasts 15 months before braking down I'll be surprised. When they say "they don't make them like they used to" there not kidding.

    Damaged towels

    1/5
Great delivery as always for AO, however the actual tumble dryer damaged a load of towels on it's first use. There is a sharp piece of plastic on the front rim, which was catching on our towels, causing the towels to snag. £££ of towels ruined, and had to pay the extra £200 for a Samsung.

    Time will tell…

    2/5
The best thing about this dryer is how quiet it is in comparison to other dryers I’ve had. Once you choose desired drying setting you get a shock at how long it predicts it will take, although this number does usually reduce as it gets going. I have never had a heat pump tumble dryer before, and I would say it takes a bit of getting used to, as it does take longer to dry clothes. The thing that annoys me most about it is running through clothes that have been on an airer and are almost dry but just need finishing off. This in my previous vented or condenser dryers would take 5-10 mins, but in this heat pump dryer seems to take a good 20-30mins, which is no good if you’re on your way out or in a hurry! If you do a lot of washing, as I do, I’m not sure this would be the dryer for you. I personally wish I had got another condenser of vented dryer. Stats say heat pump dryers are about £1.00 less per cycle to run than vented and condenser dryers, so hopefully I will save some money on energy bills, although with it taking longer to dry clothes I doubt the saving will be anything like that.

    Monitoring the situation…

    3/5
Seems to dry clothes/towels etc well so far. However, items are getting caught in the front of the drum, near the door, in the holes in the plastic frontage. One t-shirt was ripped. Monitoring the situation at present. It’s happened twice so far and is annoying.

Good but automation makes it worse

    3/5
This is a good product but the automation really lets it down. When I put a load in and select one of the pre-set settings, it will begin on that cycle but after a few minutes it'll reduce the time greatly, thinking it doesn't need that long however at the end of the (reduced) cycle the clothes are still slightly wet. Therefore we have to just use a timed method and manually put in a time. Having to not plug this into the drainage is also handy so we could put it where ever we wanted.
