The hoover has a great motor but unfortunately I can’t push it on the higher setting it’s impossible and as I have two dogs that is why I bought it

Bought this as a replacement for a previous Shark model (Shark DuoClean with Powered Lift Away NV801UK) which I'd had for 5 years with no issues. The suction on this model is too strong and not practically adjustable, rendering this impossible to use on a carpet with any kind of pile. The flimsy plastic switch that allows you to adjust from 'max' to 'min' suction on the handle moves barely an inch. On hard surfaces or a carpet with no pile, this works a treat, but on carpets with a pile it is almost impossible to push along (I'm talking two hands, putting your whole weight behind it and becomes a major workout in itself).

I'm really struggling with my new hoover - Even if I have on hard flooring setting - I am having to really push the hoover over the carpet - got to the point where I cant used it - so disappointed. Will keep looking online for solutions in the hope I can get it to work.

Really good vacuum. Previously had a shark vacuum with a wider roller, however this one is smaller and actuality easier to use to get in and around things. The nozzle tool is good but could do with added brush fitting like some other models. Better cable storage than our old vacuum too.

Not a bad little machine, I wish I'd bought the bigger shark machine though! It was too expensive at the time I ordered this machine, day after this machine was delivered AO reduced the price of the Shark machine I actually wanted! That's not the fault of the machine, not a good idea to do that AO!

Best thing I’ve ever done, got rid of my Dyson for this! It’s brilliant

Fantastic hoover, very light for a corded vacuum cleaner, the anti hair wrap design is a game changer! I used to spend so much time cutting hair of the traditional brush bars, but not once had to do it on this hoover, always amazed at the amount of dirt it picks up, also the design and colours of the hoover are superb.

Such a difference from our battery powered Shark. Feel the difference over Carpet.
