If I could have given this no stars I would have. We bought this product in May 2021. It recently developed a fault which has resulted in us losing approximately £150 worth of food in the freezer. The customer service support from Samsung has literally been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. In spite of an engineer coming out and informing that the fault is not fixable they have not provided us with a resolution or replacement. Luckily, AO.com have been AMAZING and have taken on the issue for us which has allowed us to move forwards. Having never dealt with Samsung before, I can confidently say that I will never buy one of their products ever again. Please don’t buy a fridge freezer from Samsung. However, definitely buy your products from AO.com as their customer service is outstanding.

Very spacious well designed but you need lots if room both sides of the fridge to open the doors all the way back to be able to fully open the bottom drawer in the fridge and the freezer.

Started off to be a great fridge freezer however after 5 months of use the freezer completely died. Absolutely appalling customer service from Samsung. 7 weeks after initially reporting the issue and still no closer to getting it repaired. Samsung simply said they're waiting for a part and couldn't give me any estimation on date. The customer service from AO.com on the other hand was exceptional. They stepped in, put pressure on Samsung to expedite the repair and when they had no success either they replaced the entire unit with no quibble. Very happy with AO.com but not so happy to still be a Samsung customer.

A nice fridge with lots of space but it doesn't come with the extras that my last Samsung fridge was supplied with - no bottle rack or fizzy drink rack. Also they have redesigned the water supply so that there are no drainage holes under the tap and the water slops over the front. The water filter is now external and must be fitted outside the fridge.

Good points: good capacity, decent shelves and cooler drawers for veg and dairy. Ice machine works well. Bad points: dents really easily - the aluminium is very thin. The bottom fridge drawer dents the outside edge of the door if you pull it out with the door not open enough (happened on day 1). That drawer is also going to get broken because it doesn’t get pushed back in by the door if it’s still sticking out - instead the door pushes against it in the wrong direction. Being right down low and out of eye line that’s easy to do. Water from the dispenser isn’t remotely chilled.

We were replacing a Samsung American Fridge freezer so wanted another Samsung. We were so happy before 15 years loyal service before the compressor gave up. New one arrived, crazy noisy, Samsung great service engineer out it days. Freezer working just very very noisy. Lots of calls to Samsung and Ao. Finally got it swapped and new one is perfect. Just like the last one, quiet, huge, better design with more space inside and airflow seems much better. Shame we had to go through the hassle. And AO dented the 2nd one on delivery luckily on the side. No tail lift on the vans, crazy. But the service by phone staff both Samsung and AO very good.

Do not buy this product if you want a working ice maker. Mine is 4 months old and until this weekend was working perfectly. I actually really liked it space ice and water dispenser etc. Now it has stopped making ice. As it is only 4 months old I contacted Samsung after trying all the trouble shooting methods. My water dispenser is still working so it is clearly an issue with the ice maker. They now want me to defrost the whole fridge freezer for 4 - 6 hours to see if this solves the issue. I have now done some research and it seems this is a really common problem with Samsung ice makers. I have been on chat for 1 and a half hours with them while they repeatedly told me to try different trouble shooting options that I had already tried. Including that I had too much in the freezer or the food wasn’t stored in there correctly. I am now awaiting a further call to see if they will cover the cost of food wastage from the defrost. This shouldn’t be happening with a 4 month old fridge freezer. This is no reflection on AO their service is not the issue here.

Bought this to replace my previous Samsung American freezer which I loved. Overall it is ok but not as well designed as my previous fridge/freezer. A plus is the hidden handles which make for a sleeker design and less chance of bring bumped into. Negatives are that the storage space inside is much less well designed and consequently smaller, the ice dispenser area isn't high enough to put some water bottles in and is much easier to spill when filling anything and the water filters are much harder to replace as they are behind the unit itself now versus being in it which is massively more inconvenient and the whole unit sticks out more as a result.
