This coffee machine is amazing. User friendly interface, great quality components. And, the most important, taste of the coffee is perfect. I’m not a PRO barista, but coffee from that express tastes PRO. Full recommendation from me and my wife. Great job SAGE !

As with other Sage coffee machines I’ve used in the past, does everything it says on the box except frothing the milk. I’ve tried full cream, semi-skimmed, UHT and fresh, but none seem to froth the milk like my friend’s Sage machine does. Maybe I just need to keep trying!

This coffee machine is one of the best on the market. I upgraded from a popular pod machine and I’m glad I did. The whole process of freshly grinding the beans and the smell of the coffee really sorts me out first thing in the morning. I have had a problem with the grinder getting stuck, but a light tap seemed to unclog the hopper.

As you’d expect for the price (and from having a couple of other Sage bits and bobs around the kitchen) it is a very impressive, versatile bit of kit with which you are able to make a bunch of different and very nice coffees. It is a SKILL though, you will need to figure out the tamping, how long to grind the particular beans you buy for and what length of foaming to apply to the type of milk you want for the type of coffee you’ll get. If that doesn’t daunt you then you can’t do better for the money.

Love everything about this machine! Looks great, easy to use once you've got it set up how you like your coffee. had to try a few types of beans but settled now. Love the auto milk frother as well - now to perfect my froth art. Oh and it's perfect for the odd espresso martini as well.....

The machine is excellent. Produces fantastic coffee every time. My consumption has gone through the roof because of how delicious the espresso is. However, a note of caution - this is not for everyone. The machine requires care, takes time to set up the grind size and amount, water qty etc. If you're looking for a capsule/pod style plug and play this ain't it. If you are willing to spend a little bit of time setting it up, and maintaining the machine by cleaning regularly etc and taking care of it, then this will produce simply one of the best espressos out there.
