Great looking oven with lots of great features.

After my previous oven went bang, I was determined not to buy another oven that basically burnt edges of food. Having done my research I went for this Hotpoint as it was excellent value for money with lots of cooking functions.It is a Pyrolytic oven, which is perfect for our needs as I'm asthmatic and can't use many of the harsh oven cleaning products safely. Hubby is also delighted with the purchase as he was previously the chief oven cleaner in the house. Had it just over a week now and it is a fab versatile oven for all my family's cooking needs.. Perfectly baked cakes, fabulous roast potatoes and crispy pizzas. Haven't used all the functions yet but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. Added bonus was the provision of of a drip test to collect meat juices and it also came with a turn spit to make rotisserie chicken. Hubby loves the bread proving function on the oven too!

Whilst on lockdown and money being very tight as off work with no income my old oven finally gave up the ghost after many years trusty service 14 Infact and heavily used and knew was on its way but it gave in whilst I was having a stressful time, as always head to ao as I’ve bought many appliances over years and always had amazing value customer service and purchases and experiences, I went for middle of the road I was teased with a mass variety of choices and features, I went for the hotpoint one as was plug and go as trying to get a electrical engineer out on lockdown proved tricky, delivery was prompt and couldn’t of followed better delivery with lockdown rules I was contacted day after on phone by a ao representative to confirm and check my order (I ordered online ) and to see if I was ok to receive and delivery notes I had made , cake actualy 5 mins earlier then time frame and within an hour I was ready to use I literaly u packed and plugged in, we were so thrilled to see the oven had so many more features then advertised a rotisserie function and bars so many programs and we went out and bought loads of food of which we buy regularly but and could t beleave how better it was cooked and tasted an amazing purchase and for price I would of expected it to be double priced so easy and still being so happily surprised each day

Considering this was replacing a Siemens oven that cost 3 times the price I wasn’t expecting too much and I’m pleasantly surprised - positives - quiet, good functionality, pyrolitic cleaning a bonus (not used yet) the spit roast is great Negatives - the touch screen is a little difficult to get used to as some of the functions appear on a special menu - the trays are a bit flimsy and I would have preferred 2 racks instead of 2 trays and 1 rack but all all minor things I’ve made cake, meringue, roast chicken, roast potatoes and heated pizza so far all perfect for the money I’m very happy

Great cooker, but the grill only works when the door is shut!

This is an expensive looking oven for a fraction of the price of similar models. The digital display is easy to use ands looks smart and modern - fitting in beautifully with my kitchen. The oven itself is a good size, able to cope with the demands of my family of 6! The oven heats up quickly and beeps to let you know the required temperature has been reached and cooking time is beginning. Light comes on as soon as you open the door, without having to turn the oven on, a nice feature. One shelf, one deep baking tray with rack and one shallow baking tray are provided which is more than adequate. Not yet tried the self cleaning feature but walls, floor, ceiling and trays are very easy to wipe clean. My only, minor, criticism is that the audible beeb is very quiet and you wouldn’t necessarily hear it from another room. On the scale of things this is no big issue. I would definitely recommend this product.

Really pleased with this oven so far. It initially looked complicated to use, but the instructions make it simple. The oven looks smart when fitted as well.
