I've had and used Miele products for many years now and some of my family worked in the NHS UK and Eire so I am used to these products. My older Miele washer lasted 23 years and I replaced it with this type of model washer T1 Selection white. This T1 Selection dryer replaces an older Miele vented (hairdryer) type dryer, which still worked but was getting on (20 years) and was very expensive to run. I've only used this new dryer a few times but it effectively is a "heat pump/dehumidifier" in reverse, using the compressor motor heat to provide warmth to the air inside the dryer whilst it dehumidifies the moist air (heat pump technology) to remove moisture and dry the clothes. It is about 80% more energy efficient than my old Miele dryer and better for the planet too! It's a win-win! Also, the clothes come out super soft and don't feel scorched or over-dried. I would highly recommend it if you looking for a replacement dryer. Bonus, it's got a glass door which the old one didn't have.

Superb and good value Miele tumble dryer, exceptionally practical. Being a heat pump condenser, a newer technology, all it needs to operate is power (obviously) and optionally can drain into the same outlet as a washing machine. (Otherwise it has a water container which should be emptied after every load.) The fluff catcher needs emptying more often than on a dryer which vents hot air, but this is far more efficient, and that's hardly a major chore. Very neat, quiet, effective. A great buy.

This tumble dryer is amazing! I love Miele products as they are all built so well and this is no exception! You can set it up through the Miele app on your phone so you know when your drying has finished. The inbuilt light is really useful and the little freshening pods not only make the washing smell nice, but also the whole house. Lots of drying options and it adjusts itself to sense when the washing is dry. You can even set up how ‘dry’ you want things! The delicate program is really useful and is really gentle on clothes. To top it all, the electricity consumption is really low! We have a smart meter so can see what is eating electricity at any point in the day and this machine hardly makes a difference! More economical than the washing machine! It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for with Miele and from my experience, the products go on for years and years!

Excellent product! very well thought out and good quality!

The first thing we noticed about this machine is how quiet it is - probably the most quiet appliance we have in our kitchen now! It has three separate lint filters, but they are pretty easy to remove and clean. It does a decent job drying, though sometimes on the default auto setting we have to put things like towels in a second time. Very simple controls and a spacious drum. And it's a Miele, whose service I have come to appreciate as being fantastic as we also have a Miele washing machine.
