Great toaster which is really quick!!

Very pleased with toaster. The keep warm feature is very useful. I also like the facility for frozen bread. Most of all, the toaster ejects bread so I can remove it easily without burning my fingers - I needed to use tongs with my previous toaster! The crumb tray is very easy to remove and replace. Registering the guarantee with Smeg was difficult. The website appeared to assume I had a paper receipt and of course it was electronic. It was unnecessarily fiddly to provide proof of purchase and Smeg needs to address this.

We bought a Smeg coffee machine recently, and when our old toaster (different brand) wanted to retire, it was time to look for a new one. Going through a few websites and brands, I figured to see what Smeg has to offer. Reviews seemed to be consistently good, and as it matches the coffee machine.... how could I not? I love the look of the toaster. On using setting 5, the bread was like charcoal, so we've used it on setting 3, which has produced toast to our liking. Doesn't take too long to toast slices either. So far very happy with it! Worth mentioning though that the accessories seen in the photos and video aren't included. You will receive the toaster only. I found this out after contacting AO.
