The Samsung washing machines are generally very good - last one was excellent for 15 years. Purchased this one at end November 23. Unfortunately had the same problem others have reported in reviews - there is a known problem with the software on all the Samsung 11Kg machines made around this time. It will affect every machine! Samsung customer support is abysmal and despite this known issue with their software, they just tell you to 'turn it off and on again' and 'manually drain it' and try to blame you for 'overloading' it (with one T shirt!). With AO help, I eventually got an engineer out, who updated the software (the latest version is 4 releases on from the faulty software on the machine). The machine has been fine ever since. Had the odd issue with it not spinning properly on occasion, but I believe this was just due to it not being able to balance the load sufficiently at that time to get up to the higher spin speeds. So, not as good as my previous Samsung 12kg washing machine, but still a good machine once you can get past all the issues.

Love the machine , never leave reviews right away like to test the product. Right , The front panel has been repaired in several places by the manufacturer. There are scratches in the front panel . They is a tiny dent in the front . Lacquer missing off the detergent drawer. A new sticker suck over an old one . I took pictures from day one .

It arrived with water inside the window (despite ordering a new machine) my first 2 washes stunk like they'd been washed a week before. I was on phone to customer service for over an hour ,engineer who was booked to call didn't arrive. Send to be working ok now but God knows ,as it was confirmed to me on the call that a test cycle was performed on it ,giving the amount of dust on the machine door i am a little concerned about the longevity of the product.

Absolutely AWFUL! I’ve ran this item empty as advised by ao! Then with a load in and been physically sick! My entire house in EVERY room stinks of chemicals and possibly rubber. Samsung customer service are awful and very unhelpful! I now can’t wash my clothes and have a house that even with the doors wide open in rain can’t get rid of the smell. NEVER would I buy Samsung again! VERY loud on spin and cannot understand the other reviews which is why I bought it. The smell is horrific so now I’ve spent £600 on an item I can’t use along with the broken brand new Samsung fridge freezer. Worst brand on the market!

Very happy with this product. Very quiet, nice big drum and cycles aren’t too long. Only criticism, but maybe I’ve missed something , is there isn’t a separate spin cycle.

So far I'm impressed with its washing and spinning. However this is according to Samsung a new model so the instruction manual is not available and even the Samsung helpline staff don't have access to the info. Thich left my poking at the control panel on a hit and miss fashion trying to guess which combinations would work. It's also not clear whether throws and quilts can be washed in it. I bought the larger capacity to allow me to wash them. From the Quick Start/Set Up leaflet that came with it, I get them impression I cannot wash throws blankets or quilts in it. If true, thus is very is disappointing as it has 2kg more capacity than my previous machine and I used to wash throws, quilts and double summer weight duvets in that. That machine lasted 16 years so was obviously not harmed by doing so. Samsung are posting me a photocopy of the instruction manual, which may clear up these questions.

Great washing machine but even better service from Ao.com, unlike most everyone else they have these people called humans that take the time to keep you updated and make sure you’re happy every step of the way. I look forward to my next electrical purchase , I know exactly who to contact. This firm knows how to treat their customers. Well done AO.

The machine worked well to start with. Then gradually the time of the wash was taking longer and longer. The machine then started to cut out and would not drain or spin and became very noisy. Turns out it was a software error . The software was out of date and this is a common issue. Surely products should not be sold to the consumer with a known software issue . I would not purchase a Samsung washing machine again !
