    Machine leaked after few washes

    1/5
The machine has a major design flaw. Small items of clothing get stuck in the door seal. On one occasion a baby sock blocked up a drainage hole under the door seal and caused a leak, which flooded the bathroom. The blocked drain was also causing clothes to come out unclean before we stopped using the machine due to the leak. Samsung have said there is no mechanical fault that meant AO will not refund or replace the full value of the machine. We have faced so much hassle due this machine!

Hard to use. Beeps a lot. Instructions useless.

    2/5
The most frustrating washer I have ever known. It beeps all the time. Even when you have worked out how to turn the alarm off it still beeps. The instructions provided are next to useless. I had to Google how to choose a cycle as I couldn't even get that to work. If I had the choice again I wouldn't buy it. I am sure when I get use to its annoying beeps I will hate it less. But at the moment I want to run it over with my car.

Not smart at all. A total failure.

    1/5
I totally regret buying this stupid machine. Buying a smart machine just means more reasons for it to fail. Don't bother with this junk. I am sick of draining the machine manually. According to Samsung support there's a problem with the motherboard. Tried everything with Samsung customer support which is was also highly incompetent. Now I've got to wait five working days for an engineer. They will not honor the Five-Year guarantee they offered me because I didn't register it within 90 days of purchase so all I have is a 2-year guarantee which is almost out. This is disgraceful because I definitely went through the process of registering it within a few days of purchasing it. I mean why wouldn't anyone want a five year guarantee? I will get this fixed and sell it immediately along with my TV and my phone because I am so disgusted with Samsung now. I will never use them again.

    Flaws ruin good cleaning performance

    2/5
Not recommended! Coming from a 10 year-old Hotpoint I couldn't be less impressed. The Samsung has good cleaning performance but has a MAJOR design flaw: socks ALWAYS get stuck in the drum in wash, so they are dirty, sopping wet and jam the machine! Never an issue on my previous Hotpoint. There's also no way to set the temperature for the ECO cycle ('chosen automatically dependent on load' - why can't I choose an eco temp?) and the child safety lock is buried in a menu - no shortcut. I wish I'd kept my old model.

Good washer with a couple of disappointing niggles

    3/5
Washing machine seemed great to start with but having had it for a couple of months now, it's worth mentioning 2 minor niggles I've got with this that we didn;t have with our old washing machine. Firstly, small items, like kids trainer socks, will nearly always find a way to get wedged in the bottom of the door seal during a wash. Secondly, and maybe related, it might be a good idea to avoid this machine if you tend to use pods for the detergent. numerous times now I have found significant amounts of a pod stuck in the bottom of the door seal. Could be operator error, but the thing is flat and level, and i'm not overloading, so perhaps just powder or liquid from now on.

    Don’t Buy “, Run!

    1/5
Product arrived fine. Used it for 4 washes rubber seal was damaged by another part of the machine that came off inside. Samsung customer service refused to fix it as they are claiming it’s not a manufacturer defect. So now I have a leaking machine that is not for purpose and have wasted half a day on the phone to Samsung.

    Worth the money

    5/5
Really good washing machine, decent amount of cycles and quick wash coming in at an incredible 15mins. Virtually silent compared to our old Beko with the exception of the lovely wee tune it plays at the end of the wash. 5 star product in my opinion although my wife thinks I should knock off a star as I seem to have trouble finding it.

Stopped spinning after half a dozen uses

    1/5
Wow! Stopped spinning after half a dozen uses. First time this has happened in all my years on any product. So disappointed. Bought it a month ago, went away for a month, came back and it doesn’t spin. The machine had a selection of lightweight clothing in it only. No way would I ever buy from this company again after my customer care experience. Fifteen minutes of press 1, press 1 … then half an hour on then phone to the Philippines with a very nice, but very hard to understand, lady. And the upshot is, North Western Repairs will come out. The thing is AO, my sales contract is with YOU and I do not like the fact that the machine is defective and you refer me to the manufacturer. I won’t ever buy from you again and cannot recommend you to family and friends.
