Absolutely love this item. Bought to replace my very old one. Fitted perfectly, nice looking and not too noisey.

This is a basic cooker hood at a good price. It has the rear exhaust I needed to replace an old hood (so I did not have to make another hole in the wall). It does not come with any fixings or exhaust pipe; it does come with a typical paper filter. I hope the LED bulbs last longer than the old filament ones (which would frequently fail after only a few days of use!) It works well, is not as noisy as I feared and it shifts a useful amount of air. It can be fitted in several different ways, with a top or rear exhaust, or re-circulate (but you'll need to buy the separate carbon grease filter for that. AO - you really ought to stock this so it can be bought as part of the initial hood purchase). Based on previous experience, change the filters regularly, otherwise the whole thing will get covered in muck! Also, as Zanussi say: turn the fan on low at the start of cooking and it will reduce the need for using it at the (noisier) high speed. Despite some of my comments above, the hood does what I needed, at a sensible price, so all in all, I'm happy with it.

Bought it to replace an old inefficient hood. Even though advertised as not quiet I am pleasantly surprised at how quiet it actually is. It was very easy to install and I am astounded at how efficient it is. It has made a huge difference when cooking by removing steam and eliminating quite a bit of cooking smells. Would highly recommend.
