    Features we love

A Miele appliance is built to last

Miele ovens are always tested for the equivalent of 20 years’ use. Instead of using hectic factory lines, there’ll only ever be one technician working on an appliance. This means each one gets a unique treatment from start to finish, guaranteeing unbeatable quality every time. So, you know you’re getting a machine that’s truly designed to last.

Easier than ever to wipe clean

The catalytic liners on this model make cleaning really easy. Because they absorb and break down grease whilst food is cooking, you’ll never be left scrubbing tough splatters off the inside walls again. Miele’s baking trays come with a special PerfectClean non-stick coating too, which also stops residue from clinging. This means they’ll effortlessly wipe clean – even after you’ve made a cheesy pasta bake or cooked the meat for a Sunday roast.

Lots of room for lots of cooking

Because this model’s so big, there’s always plenty of space to make your favourite dishes together. Its 76 litre capacity gives you more than enough room for huge roasts, as well as all the tasty sides to go with it. There are also 5 shelf positions to play with, making it great for batch baking. So, whether it’s your speciality cookies or a new flapjack recipe, you’ll even be able to make enough to share with the neighbours.

Enjoy meals in half the time

With Miele’s Rapid Heat function, you’ll be ready to start cooking in no time. Because it can reach 180 degrees in as little as 4 minutes, it’s ideal for those busy week nights where you just don’t have the time to be waiting around.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring up for a new single oven, the width will be standard at around 59.5cm. You’ll need to make sure height of the oven space is also around 59.5cm for this single oven, as you can also get compact ovens that are 45cm tall. Check the depth too – single ovens are 56cm deep but you’ll need an extra couple of centimetres for any gas pipes. If you have a gas hob above your oven, it’s best to buy a model with a sloping back, rather than a square back – otherwise it might not fit under the gas pipe for the hob.

Excellent Oven - recommended by Which? Magazine too.

Very pleased with my new oven so far, having previously always had gas cookers. The setting for getting the oven up to temperature very quickly is amazingly quick. Downsides? The main one is that Miele only provide one wire shelf (the other is a tray) - additional shelves are available from Miele, but the price will make your eyes bleed.....c'mon Miele, you can do better.... Alternatively, get a non-genuine spare off ebay for a fraction of the price. The only other thing to be aware of is you'll need a suitable Torx bit to fit the oven securing screws when installing it.

    Good oven

Happy overall with the build quality and functionality. Simple options and does the job.

A couple of weeks in and this is a first-rate cooker so far. We were replacing an old cooker that was on its last legs so there are obvious improvements. Have used most of the settings so far and all good. The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is that the cooker arrives with just one wire shelf, plus one roasting tray, so two cooking levels in all. But this is a cooker that will easily hold three, and you are probably going to need wire shelves far more often than the tray. I think for this price Miele should provide two shelves plus a tray. This might seem a minor niggle but a spare shelf from the Miele website costs £90! I managed to find the same shelf a lot cheaper on eBay but would have been more than a little miffed if I had had to pay one-fifth of the price of the cooker for an extra shelf. However, apart from that this is a neat item and performs well.

Good oven but small design flaw.

Only had the oven for a short time but it seems fine, however, for an expensive oven, it has a bit of a design flaw. The display panel is black, and so is the left-hand selector knob. It has a line in it (black also) to indicate which programme selection is being made. this makes it difficult to know which programme has been selected, particularly lower on the dial. I'm surprised that Miele did not pick this up. I guess we'll get used to it.
    Mr John Hayward.

    One happy Miele customer

Simplicity of use and a wide range of cooking functions for us oldies who have been cooking for over fifty years. Some good things are like the timer which after the time finishes the clock starts clocking up, so if you are away from the kitchen and the timer goes off you have some idea of when the actual time when the alarm went off. The timer is nice and easy to set with a wide range of options. The oven temperature can be seen increasing until the set temp is reached, that's good. I cook sometimes twice a day and these small things do help. The cooling fan is not too noisy and does not run any longer than any other cooker. So some things I don't like having seconds on the timer would have been better to have a longer cook time while you could set the oven to cook for duration on the timer for start to finish, sometimes something that is going too cook longer it would be nice to set hours and minutes. The buzzer for oven temp gives one bleep when it gets to the set temp when you are working in kitchen, something with a longer bleep and maybe louder is best to notify you. Why have shelves marked out for 5 positions when the operating cooking positions for the recommended shelf position only goes to three. The function knob only protracts in oin the off position not like the temp knob. So having had the cooker for one week it has been used every day the roast turned out nice on the oven temp I used and normally I do not check my meat temp after fifty years you know when something is cooked but yes I did check the meat temp and was perfect. My home pizza turned out good, the toast which I always do under the grill was perfect, finally my cakes turned out good. I would recommend any serious cook to consider this cooker I am glad I did. Sorry my review is long but that's how a review should be done thank you for reading my comments

    Fantastic oven

Fantastic it warms up really quickly compared to my last oven it was a Smeg which I wouldn’t buy again. Our new ovens cooks much more even and quicker. We know it was more money but worth every penny .
