    Great hob.

Really good induction hob. The P setting is great. Boils a pan of water in under a minute. Never seen anything like it!

Senseboil works a treat. And it is easy to hit that 0 on the power slide to switch it off which was a challenge in circular dial-style Aeg hob

    Brilliant

I''ve had my hob and hood installed about 3 weeks now. It replaces the cheapest 50cm wide flat plate electric hob and oven I could find a few years back to sit in our then temporary kitchen. This may have coloured my view of this product, as what I have come from is just so bad. But i absolutely love it. Lets cover some things that were of concern to me based on others reviews: I was dubious going in about the sense boil function and it can be quite hit and miss, definitely don''t put it on and walk away. But when it does work OMG so satisfying. I was very worried getting the hob about it scratching I''ve read some very negative reviews about this. but I''ve found it to be incredibly hard wearing. I don''t shuffle pans across the surface but they do get slid around a little as the surface is so smooth. All my plans pretty much are heavy bottomed stainless steel bar one induction frying pan. Last week I was having a bad day as my washing machine died I put some pasta in a pan and stupidly walked off to look at new machines and forgot about the pan. The pan boiled over so hard that it had boiled dry, burnt the inside and out side of the pan and did it that badly that the pan was stuck to the hob....I managed to unstick the pan and had to wait for the hob to surface to cool down before I began the terrifying task of trying to clean the hob. I got most of the burnt on pasta water off, with just water and a sponge but a very obvious ring was left. Terrified of hurting the hob any more I ordered a special cream cleaning product recommended by AEG to clean the surface. It arrived a few days later and after some serious elbow grease with a soft sponge and some soaks in the cleaner. The hob is totally spotless not a mark or scratch from my massive error. I''m so impressed with this hob even when I did my worst to it, it''s held its own. The cooking functions are fairly standard of induction hobs from what I can see the timer in the middle is nice but just double check you selected the right hob when putting your timber on. The hob2hood function is a bit mind blowing at first, the lights on my hood turn on when I turn on hob on, which just makes me happy every time I turn the thing on. The self adapting extraction level is awesome and for someone like me who forgets to turn extractor fans on, this function is great.Only slight negative I''ve found is that when you select a temperature of 10 or above, it makes a little whine noise as it tries to heat up quickly. It''s really not very loud at all and if I have any other appliance, like my oven on, I can''t hear it over the fan on them. It''s not annoying and just seems to be the unit working hard. Once up to temperature, I don''t hear it. All in all very pleased with my purchase.

    Better than previous induction hob

So far so good. Enjoying the feature that every heating area has it's own control, on our previous one you had to select the area before adjusting the heating. I would not go back to that style. A manual would be useful, but found one online.

Good facilities and a great piece of kit which communicates with the ceiling fan. So far so good as it has just been commissioned.
