    Product Overview

Let this NEFF four-zone induction hob give you a helping hand in the kitchen. For a start, it’s a Plug&Play model which means there’s no pesky hardwiring to install. Just plug it in and you’re off, no electrician necessary. It’s also got clever Pan Detection tech that uses sensors to heat up exactly where your pot is. So, in a bind you can pop a saucepan on the biggest ring, and you still won’t be wasting any electricity. And when it’s time to clean up, you’ll know when it’s safe to wipe the hob with the Residual Heat Indicator lighting up all warm areas until they’re cool to touch. Talk about a lightbulb moment.

Installation in a matter of seconds

Don’t want to spend a small fortune on installing your new hob? Stop searching for electricians and handymen – Plug & Play hobs are frameless and don’t need any hardwiring. That means you can just pop in the plug, flick the switch, and get to work on a tasty fry up.

Heat boost gets dinner on the table quicker

If you’re heading out for a night at the movies, the Power Boost function gives an extra burst of heat to help you cook faster. You might even get there in time for the trailers, because the water will be boiled and ready to go in under 90 seconds. So, you can throw the spaghetti in, enjoy your meal, and head for the cinema in no time. Just don’t forget the popcorn!

Keep things energy efficient with sensor controlled cooking

This clever model automatically detects where you place your pans. Using a magnetic coil under the hob’s surface, it immediately provides heat to your cookware, so cooking becomes more precise and energy efficient.

Getting used to an induction hob

It seems to work well. It boils water very quickly and generally heats up very quickly on full power. It takes a bit of getting used to when you're used to gas. You can turn gas down and you know how much to do this by. You can turn the hob down too but it takes a bit of getting used to to figure out how much to turn it down by. Full power is 9 so for example simmer might be 5 but you have to experiment. However, you need to be carefull. if water boils over the unit can turn off as it goes into a bit of a melt down. When you clean it, it can play up too so try to avoid the control area when cleaning. Read the manual. I am happy with it the more I get used to it and don't forget you'll need the right pans to work with it. They must be induction capable hence they need a magnetic base. All things considered it seems good value.

    Gas hob to electric

Changed from a gas hob to this electric induction hob. It looks nice, is very easy to clean and lovely to cook on. My space was unsuitable for a wired hob so was worried that this plug in one wouldn't be very powerful, but i needn't have worried. It's brilliant, with plenty of power and definitely worth the change from gas to electric.
