Getting used to an induction hob

    4/5
It seems to work well. It boils water very quickly and generally heats up very quickly on full power. It takes a bit of getting used to when you're used to gas. You can turn gas down and you know how much to do this by. You can turn the hob down too but it takes a bit of getting used to to figure out how much to turn it down by. Full power is 9 so for example simmer might be 5 but you have to experiment. However, you need to be carefull. if water boils over the unit can turn off as it goes into a bit of a melt down. When you clean it, it can play up too so try to avoid the control area when cleaning. Read the manual. I am happy with it the more I get used to it and don't forget you'll need the right pans to work with it. They must be induction capable hence they need a magnetic base. All things considered it seems good value.

    Perfect induction hob

    5/5
Perfect replacement for our previous Neff induction hob which lasted 14 trouble free years. Transforms cooking on the hob - so quick and simple to use - and joy of joys, SO easy to clean.

    Gas hob to electric

    5/5
Changed from a gas hob to this electric induction hob. It looks nice, is very easy to clean and lovely to cook on. My space was unsuitable for a wired hob so was worried that this plug in one wouldn't be very powerful, but i needn't have worried. It's brilliant, with plenty of power and definitely worth the change from gas to electric.

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
