I had an engineer out FIVE times in under seven months. Twice the water was leaking from the front door - they have added a small door in the main door to add anything dropped/forgotten, this door appears to be the issue and leaking. The whole front was replaced each time. The model has an automatic detergent and softener dispenser which is a brilliant idea....if it works. The whole unit was replaced THREE times as it didn't work properly - it didn't send the liquids to the machine and even though the dispensers were full and an error message was saying they were low, I was even told to water down the liquids which didn't work. On the same day of the third replacement I still got an error message to say there was no liquid in the drawer. Each time I needed to contact Samsung to get the engineer out I had to spend over an hour and a half on the phone as they insist on running the machine through an entire wash whilst on a video call watching it, on the fifth time I told the agent I wasn't prepared to do the video wash cycle again and she refused to help me unless I did so. It is only after having the same issue repaired THREE times that Samsung would consider a refund/replacement. My research appears to show that the issues I had are very common so I would guess that they are design faults and Samsung should be doing something about them. AO were excellent in facilitating the refund and I bought a different brand machine from them which I am really happy with so far. I would NEVER consider buying a Samsung machine again.

Very quiet in operation. A useful hatch on the front in case you leave that odd sock put of the wash. AI function works out the best wash. We like the trays where you fill up with softener and detergent in advance to save having to add this in every wash as an additional item. Accurate timing on this machine telling you when it is ready. Haven't had a chance to link it to the WiFi as yet but something to have a play with later.

What a washing machine! After having our previous Samsung washing machine for 7 years it was time to upgrade, our family has grown from us a couple to a family of 5 and we needed the 9kg drum this washing machine has. What really sold us are the features e.g the add wash door, being able to quickly open the hatch to throw that one kids sock in that got loose is a major boon in our house. The machine itself is very quiet even when on max spin which is helpful as I work nights and can sleep through the noise (which there is next to none). The integration into the smarthings app with AI is a gamechanger as we no longer have to measure out the detergent and softener, the magic of AI works out the optimal amount for you, like I said gamechanger! To sum the washing machine up its in our eyes a 5 star product and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone

The machine seems to operate as expected and the larger drum size is a great improvement. The higher 1600rpm spin speed is brilliant as it makes drying so much easier. One problem I did encounter on installation was that the drain hose was too short and the connection was too loose for the standard UK drain pipe spigot; I had to double up on the jubilee clips but I’m not sure about the longer term outcome.
