    Nando’s Fakeaway Burger

    This Nando’s Fakeaway Burger is a tasty twist on a takeaway classic - easy to make, super satisfying, and perfect for cooking together.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 chicken breasts
    • 2 slices of your favourite bread (ciabatta rolls)
    • A handful of lettuce leaves
    • 1 tomato, sliced
    • Garlic butter
    • Halloumi cheese, sliced
    • Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce
    • Nando’s Sweet Chilli Jam
    • Nando’s Perinaise

    Here’s how it's done...

    Step 1 - Marinate the chicken

    Pop your chicken breasts in a bowl and coat them generously with Nando’s Peri-Peri Sauce



    Step 2 - Air fry

    Cook the marinated chicken in the air fryer at 180°C for around 12–15 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.



    Step 3 - Toast the bread

    Slice your bread and spread garlic butter on the insides. Pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes until they’re golden and crispy.



    Step 4 - Grill the halloumi

    Swap out the bread and add your halloumi slices to the air fryer. Cook until golden and slightly crispy on the edges.



    Step 5 - Build your burger

    Start with the bottom slice of bread, spread on a generous layer of Nando’s Sweet Chilli Jam, add sliced tomato and lettuce. Layer on the juicy chicken breast, top with grilled halloumi, drizzle with Perinaise and crown it with the top slice of bread.



    Serve with chips and corn on the cob. It’s spicy, saucy, and seriously satisfying.
