Trade-in can only be used by individual customers and not businesses. You’ll be offered Trade-in on the products that are available for the promotion.
This is a third-party service and will work through MTR’s portal. Find out how much your device is worth. You’ll answer some questions on the condition of your device before being offered a price.
Happy with the price? Great. MTR can send you a Trade-in pack to send off your old device in, or you can print off a label and package it yourself.
Once the device reaches MTR, they’ll review it and then put the money into your bank account.

From time to time we will offer additional promotions on selected products, which will be highlighted on each product. The same process will apply.
When you get a quote, you can ask for a Trade-in pack which will include a confirmation letter, postage tips leaflet, jiffy bag and returns label to send off your device. We’ll send this out to you on the same day as requested. You can also package your device yourself and print off your own returns label.
As long as the condition is as expected, a payment will be made to your bank account on the same day your device reaches MTR.
Not at all. MTR accept both working and faulty devices. Just make sure you describe it accurately on their portal.
Average wear and tear is fine, but your device will be seen as faulty if it has any of the following issues:
If MTR review your device and decide it’s faulty when you have said it’s working, it’ll be re-evaluated and you’ll be given a new price quote in an email. You can then accept this new price or reject it. If you reject it, your device will be returned free of charge.
