The Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution 18583 Carpet Cleaner is very efficient at cleaning. But to clean out the machine afterwards is not easy. TO get access to clean the brushes you must remove the the side plates , there are three selftapping screws each side, i think that with a fare ammount of use the threads into the plastic will fail, it will then be expensive to replace some of the parts. As an Engineer i would not have bought if i had known.

This carpet cleaner is excellent. It has cleaned my carpets brilliantly. My only small issue is that the water tank can be difficult to fill as the markings for the water line are on the wrong side when filling so you cannot see them.

This is fantastic carpet cleaner. I researched carpet cleaners for a long time and must have read hundreds of reviews for different priced ones. I wanted one with a nozzle so I could do the stairs and sofa too. Everytime I kept coming back to this one. It's so easy to put together. So easy to fill and empty. Easy to use. You can feel the suction while you're cleaning so you know it's working hard. It comes with great little tools to clean it after too, and it's really easy to clean it. Doesn't take up much space to store away either. The only down side is that it's quite loud. But I can live with that because it bought my carpets up amazing! Really really pleased.

I gave it 4 stars because there are no written instructions just diagrams of how to use the cleaner etc. I did not understand them at all so I had to find a youtube video helping to explain how to use it. Which is easy!!! Other than that I have no issues so far. It cleans like it should, it comes apart as it should, and it does a damn good job! Would highly recommend.

Wow! Not usually one to get endeavour carpet cleaners, but I've used this twice so far. I love it. We've for mushroom coloured carpets upstairs and on the stairs. I can already see a huge difference. The colour is brighter and the like is looking loads better. Stairs will be done again as they get quite a lot of hammer. One downside? Just a tad on the heavy side.

we have 2 dogs so a carpet cleaner is one of life's essentials. this carpet cleaner is the best ever. it heats the water up and the carpets are dry in 30 minutes, all deeply cleaned. I would highly recommend this cleaner to everyone, it is excellent

Just used this for the first time and, had only cleaned the carpet a week ago with a 2 year old vax. The carpets on deep clean were not too wet when I finished but, the dirt it got up was amazing. The waste looked like I had not cleaned the carpets in over three years. Very pleased with this machine and it really does what it says. Well worth the money and the reviews on here don’t lie. Yes the machine is loud, but it really sucks up the water really well. Good value, and does an excellent job.

Unfortunately, I will be returning this item. The rollers stopped working during its first use and I cannot get them to restart. I have cleaned out the machine and there is nothing stuck! We don't have pets and no one wears shoes inside. The machine leaves the carpet soaking despite running the dry setting over it countless times. Not impressed by this item.
