I have found this carpet cleaner to be much more efficient than a commercial hire type plus the convenience of being able to clean when I want to means that I’m very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic product! It cleaned our carpets beyond belief, has a handy flexible hose for harder to reach areas and I really like the way you can change the settings to vary how much cleaning product you use. Cleaning the machine afterwards is so much easier than other cleaners on the market and the extra long manufacturers warranty has given me great peace of mind too. If you hadn't guessed already, I'm definitely a fan of this carpet cleaner by Bissell. I've had several other cleaners in the past but this beats them all by a mile.

Great carpet cleaner. Easy to unbox and put together, I know because my 13 year old did this before I'd even got home from work. Works like a charm, the different settings for how much solution is used are well balanced. In comparison it is much better than the previous cleaner I have used which was a commercial product by another manufacturer. Only downside is the size of the water containers(Clean and dirty), this I would say is its only let down. Not too bad for a refresh but used very quickly for a deep clean. The container sizes were clearly displayed in the specifications but I would say once you have deeped cleaned it shouldn't be a problem I you would use a lower setting. I would rate this product as superior to most older and many newer cleaners and with a very competitive price at the time of my purchase.

Fantastic! I bought this after reading other reviews and switching from a Vax. Very impressed with my Bissell Carpet Cleaner. Easy to assemble with the pictures and instructions enclosed, easy to fill water tank with clear indications on the tank of the ratio of water to cleaning fluid to the relative programme. Cleans like a dream, so far have used the express wash and it got out 2 very stubborn stains on the carpet in my holiday cottage. Have just used it to refresh a large rug too that is frequented by dogs on holiday, came up as fresh as a daisy! Very quick to dry, easy to use, light weight but sturdy. Would highly recommend and wish I had brought one before!

I have used my new Bissell Proheat 2x to clean my front room carpet last week. The result was amazing, my well used ten year old carpet now looks as good as new. The cleaner was very easy to use, not much harder than vacuuming. Very pleased.

This is exactly what I need in a carpet cleaner. Some must have features: - as good as Rug Doctor - check! - hand-held attachment for upholstery - check! - reasonable price - check! I've used this to clean my couch, my mattress, my carpets and even apply Scotchgard to the same carpet prior to renting out my flat. It all works so well. I highly recommend this product!

In general he machine works fine. Bit noisler than i exopected. Does not leave carpeys as dry as it says and the extra ;arge diry container I have to empty twice to 1 full clean container very poor as i am emptying it every 5 minutes.

Purchased, sent back and replaced twice. Very good carpet cleaner but the upholstery attachment was no good at all. The spray nozzle started off spraying the cleaning fluid well but soon became blocked and only came out in drops.
