Great machine, very cleverly designed with lots of functions. Had it a week so still playing with service options. Makes a great coffee, milk steamer takes a bit of getting used to but otherwise really happy with our purchase. Fits nicely in the kitchen, one of the more compact bean to cup machines and good value in comparison with others. Self cleaning function is also very useful.

Easy to get to grips with and super easy to froth the milk. Not the fastest machine in the world, but the coffee is definitely worth it. Plus you can make two cups at once, which is a bonus!

The Avanza makes good coffee quickly, however, it does have two irritations: (1) the milk frother does not heat the milk enough (we add some microwave heated milk before topping up from the frother) and (2) the machine incorrectly flags the waste water/used coffee tray as needing emptying when it's not necessary. In spite of irritations we will keep likely the machine as it is so much cleaner and easier than manual machines.

Does exactly what I expected from a 1st class machine, it is compact, stylish, easy to operate gives barista style coffee right from the start. The coffee served is nice and hot, once you have set it up it’s one touch.
