    Brilliant small bean to cup machine!

    I purchased this to replace a Melitta Caffeo Solo - a very similar machine that uses the same brew unit, and is still working well after 10 years (its being gifted to a family member). Compared to the Caffeo Solo the Avanza is much quieter, has larger water tank and beans hopper (main reason for upgrade) and a better milk frother. So far we're very happy - the device is the same size as the model its replacing to immediately right in (its one of the very smallest B2C machines) and works very nicely indeed. Great coffee as expected + grinding is much quieter than our caffeo solo. Hoping to get another 10 years from a Melitta machine!

    This was the cheapest bean to coffee machine I saw, and what a gem it is! very easy to use and makes awesome coffee's! If you like a nice coffee, then this is the machine for you.

    This is my first bean to cup coffee machine and I settled for this model because it could do a wide range of coffees from flat white to mocha, cappuccino etc., and was a reasonable price. It makes really good coffee and has a full range of features, some of which are only found on more expensive machines. I did find that frothing milk to be a bit tricky at first but all was not lost: Melitta have an app which can be downloaded onto your phone which explains the process simply and there are also lots of useful tips for coffee making, setting up and cleaning the machine. Over all, I'm very pleased with this machine and the level of support.

    Bought this one to replace a larger Melitta bean to cup model which gave us 4 years of good coffee, but developed a fault which apparently can’t be fixed without a large up front, no guarantee cost ! . A shame as it cost over £700. Finger crossed this one doesn’t go the same way. It’s easy and simple to use and makes great coffee.
