Handle is longer than I expected so less back ache when using. Powerful suction. Cleans carpet and diy mess with very little effort. Would recommend. Only downside is suction is so strong it needs a bit of effort to push along carpets but pulls no problem.

Strong suction unit found it better than the others in the range

Pleasantly surprised by how this machine has managed to cope with excessive mortar dust from taking plaster off our flats walls and then re plastering. The amount of dust has filled the bags that came with the machine and still the suction and filters are extremely responsive, other brands of hoover were unable to cope with the sheer capacity after 10 minutes and broke down. The ground in plaster dust of 56 bags that always seem to leak and spill out due to no dust sheets covering anything was phenomenal and I seriously wondered if we would ever be able to shift the debris but I can honestly say it does what it says efficiently and very effectively.

Always thought these little Henry type vacuums performed really well, but never had the necessity to buy one until now. I decided to get the ‘Charles’ as it as the wet capacity as well as dry. I haven’t had the cause to use the wet function yet but as a straight forward vacuum it’s absolutely brilliant. It’s just simple to use, light to carry around and importantly has very powerful suction. All the tools store on it and the main floor head clips into the main body, so it takes up less space. Would definitely recommend this little chap with hesitation.

Good suction and clean bags. Useful in large spaces, confined spaces are a bit awkward.

Excellent machine. Husband bought it for building work. Clears up all his rubble etc. Haven’t tried the wet bit yet but purchased purely for major muck. Excellent value for money.

This is our second machine, we've had the first for about 5 years, it has been faultless and still going strong. This second machine was purchased to increase productivity and since we were so pleased with Charles already, buying another was a no-brainer. Suction is good on both wet and dry mode and there are a wide range of accessories available - such as longer hoses - for very reasonable prices. Build quality is excellent and this extends to the attachments too. I would happily recommend this vacuum to anyone for both domestic and light industrial use.
