Lovely hob with conveniently situated rings and loads of power. Looks cool too. So much better than my old 4 burner Bosch hob! Another plus was that it fit perfectly well into the worktop without the need to enlarge the hole. There are a couple of drawbacks hence 4 stars: I find the minimum heat on each hob to be just a little too high for comfortable simmering. I've found it possible to achieve a lower heat by moving the knob past the maximum point, as if you're about to switch the hob off. So you can get a lower simmer heat, but this is a bit fiddly.

This is a very attractive hob; very sturdy, good quality and what is different about it is that the middle wok burner has a mini burner in the centre that can be used independently from the wok burner. Its a good size hob, it is not light at all. Yes, its a bit pricey but it is a lovely looking hob, so far so good on reliability which you would expect from a smeg

Beautiful hob... great design. The pan rests are all on one level - my previous hob had a raised central wok stand which was a real nuisance. The centre burner can be just the small middle burner, just the large outer burner, or both together - it’s so adaptable! Easy to clean, and a real feature of my new kitchen.
