This is very straight forward. They picked up the fridge and freezer from outside the house where we had left them. Thankfully, I'd done this as the 2 gentlemen concerned seemed to have little experience of this type of job. They left the new fridge-freezer wedged in the hall as they couldn't work out how to get it into the kitchen.Alas, one had a sore leg.I'm 71 and the kitchen-fitter (62) and I got it in.

Perhaps I was unlucky with collecting an old washing machine - got a phone call on the day to say the team although booked for 9-11 will have to come back in the afternoon as the van was full - waited and waited and at 6:30pm after checking the location of the van , it was heading away from us - yep we had been forgotten and to add insult to injury got a email that evening to say the job was complete !!! I rang the next day and the earliest it could be collected again was over a week later and the at went ok - not very good as no communication after the initial call on the day

There's not enough text to fill out my story and the experience I had with AO and the pickup teams. It took about 2 months with 4 to 5 attempts to pick up our old dishwasher. The short version is that it wasn't professional to the pickup team who didn't buzz the front door or lied on their left voicemail, etc. From the whole experience, I will not use AO again.

Failed to collect the old fridge freezer on three different occasions. I had to get the council to collect it in the end.

I have tried 4 times to have an item collected and each time I am told that there is no space on the van to take my product although the company is aware of what the product is, such terrible service I have been waiting since before Christmas for my item to be collected. Awful I now have no faith in the company when they say they are coming for a collection. DO NOT USE! I would give a zero review if it was possible

Did not turn up on scheduled day, watched driver on tracker turn back as it was getting late. No communication to tell me he was not coming, could not contact driver on number supplied and I had to ring up to arrange to have it picked up 2 days later. Ringing AO was awful, long wait, you should be contacting the customer if you can't pick up and re arrange.

Issues x3 with collection- arrived and stated they couldn’t fit the fridge in their van, then arranged another collection, and on this collection then they said the cant uninstall the device, we had to then pay for an electrician to come out and then arrange yet another collection when we paid for disconnection on our order, to be told this isn’t included? But no explanation on the website for this, all within the same week we moved house, it made it a stressful experience on top of a very stressful time, I can’t fault the staff very helpful/ nice ect - but the system and what we ordered 100% was not what we got or wanted to go through.

Couldn't collect the items on the day of delivery and couldn't return for 2 days by which time that had been taken by someone. Also left me with an eyesore outside my flat....Real shame as aside from next day delivery the recycling was the main reason I chose AO in the first place. I called up but have only been refunded for one of the recycling charges so far. Very poor.
