    Damaged property

    The removal guys did their best to damage every wall on their way out of the property and had a 100% success rate. It was a controlled drop down three staircases. I doubt the high quality drier will work anymore, so will likely have to be dismantled for parts rather than reused.

    5 missed collections due to AO ineptitude. Finally sorted with a manger after hours on the phone but not an acceptable service.

    We had appliance pick up included as part of our fridge freezer delivery. We asked a customer service agent on the phone if we needed to do anything at all prior to pick up and they said no, just make sure you've taken the food out of the old fridge freezer. Absolutely zero mention of defrosting the freezer. Upon arrival, the apologetic delivery men said this happens all the time and that they couldn't take the item as it was still frozen. They said customer services never tell anyone that the freezer must be defrosted and that they were frustrated as these miscommunications happen daily. I explained this to a customer service agent on the phone that evening who essentially told me I must not have been listening properly when we first communicated, as apparently all agents relay this information (however, one look at the reviews here will tell you otherwise). I then booked this collect & recycle service for two days later. After tracking the driver status all day, they cancelled at 5pm on a Friday evening. I'm 99% sure that they just wanted to go home early to start the weekend, otherwise it's very suspicious timing. I received no notification of this cancellation, apart from a text asking me to rate my delivery which left me confused as no one had been round. The tracking page started coming up with an 'error' message which is when I called customer services yet again to find out what had happened. We were offered absolutely no compensation and AO made our lives nothing but difficult, as our landlord paid for the fridge, but we the tenants booked the re-collection. There seemed to be some difficulty with them grasping this (really shouldn't be that difficult) and I eventually was told by the customer service agent to leave the fridge freezer on the road as it was taking up our entire hallway. Not sure this is particularly sound advice... if I wanted to fly tip an appliance on the pavement, I obviously wouldn't have paid £20 for this service. Would not recommend at all.

    Very unprofessional drivers, rude as well! They say they provide collect&recycle services but its only to the discretion of the driver at the day. So in our case they didnt collect although we had it planned.

    One star at most. Failed to collect on day arranged & paid for. Told when it would be collected, 2 days later, not even given an option.

    Disappointed- came for morning collection of fridge freezer but van was full so taken out of house and left in street for 2 days
