Mixed experience. The appliance was delivered however the old appliance wasn’t taken by the delivery team because “there wasn’t room on the van”. I contacted AO customer services who were excellent and arranged collection a couple of days later. The second delivery team were great, no fuss at all

This service is generally very good but in this instance the initial collection of my old fridge was cancelled at the last minute becasue the AO van was already full. (I don't know why AO don't ask what items they're picking up when the booking is made so they can avoid this happening). Anyway, I was OK with that but my problem was that the AO website wouldn't allow me to arrange a new collection date on-line so I had to ring AO's customer service people, who are always great to speak to, but only after waiting in the queue for 20 mins which is not so great.

I woke up early on Sunday morning to find out what time they would pick up my fridge (7am - 7pm) The tracker was very good but the time kept changing. Then my order was cancelled so I had to phone customer services. They appologised saying the driver should have called me - they had no room in the truck at that time so missed my pick up. I rescheduled and on this occasion the fridge was picked up with no issues and the guys in the truck were really polite and friendly.

Had to remove the doors of the fridge myself.

Not great service. Very easy to use website that was the straight forward bit. It is the stage after that when you have to deal with either a helpful member of staff or a member of staff that just don't care about customer service, Fridge delivered on time but the rest of the service, un package, disconnect old appliance and take away was a complete shambles and not carried out. I ended up un packaging, I ended up disconnecting, I ended up taking a large American fridge down to street level for the 2 drivers one week late to just jump out the cab on put on the back, I did get a thank you and told customers don't normally do this, unfortunataly I had no choice as the previous drivers on day one would not do it although they were clearly advised on my order, and the second AO driver 2 days later refused to get out the cab or call to say he was outside so i thought I would help out the 3rd set of drivers a week late. And still not received the credit for the services not carried out.

Great service and very helpful guys

I ordered my 2 new appliances through this company specifically as they had a service to take old appliances away for recycling. We got old appliances out into rear garden as instructed for new appliances arriving as instructed. When the delivery men came they said they only deliver and do not take away. I tried yo email company but no response so paid for service again and when they came they advised they could only take 1 appliance away. They told us to put oven out for scrap metal people. Bit disappointed. Fridge freezer has a mark on bottom but not too noticeable but clearly damaged by a forklift or trolley.
